Chapter 2: Victoria Khunis

{Mira's POV}

I knew something bad was going to happen.
I just didn't know what unfortunate thing it would be...
If only I could've told them to wait and stop for a little and told them about my premotion... then the truck could've passed us and we all would still be alive and living...

Hahhhhh... blaming myself won't do anything now... it wouldn't be able to bring us back to life again anyway...

Aside from that... Where am I? I'm dead, aren't I?

Darkness surrounded me.

It's actually a little comforting. I'll just take a nap...
Who knows?
I just might be able to wake up in a hospital bed with both of them next to me...
I'm just hoping...
I know it's not going to be true...

Sadness engulfed me. Not being able to see Alysia's dumb face and smile. Not being able to experience Coral's calmness and motherly aura again, filled me with a sense of sorrow.

I want to see them both again...

Just when I thought that, I felt a pushing sensation. It was like going on a roller coaster ride.

Arghh... I feel sick...
It's kind of painful too...

The next thing I felt was coldness, until I was being wrapped with a blanket or towel. I blinked open my eyes to see what was going on.

"Congratulations, Milady. You birthed a healthy baby girl!"

I opened my eyes to see an unfamiliar women holding me. She had short brown hair that reaches up to her neck and had aqua colored eyes. She also seemed to be wearing maid garbs. She looked upon me with gentle-filled eyes.

"She's the cutest thing I've ever seen..."

"Please, Muiyu, let me get a look at her..."

The maid named Muiyu looked reluctant to give me to the yet, other unfamiliar person. In the end, she had listened and handed me over gently to the women laying tired on the bed.

Now I'm getting bad feelings from the maid herself... Maybe I should stay away from her in the future...

A sudden shock ran through me. It felt like a light bulb had just lit up inside my head.

How stupid am I to not notice this fact until now? I reincarnated as a baby! Though, why do I still have my memories from before? Shouldn't it have been erased?
Wait... if I reincarned, then maybe there's a chance that the other two might have also reincarnated?
I need this body to hurry and grow up so I can confirm this!

Filled with determination, forgetting the sorrow that I experienced just before, I quickly tried to think of plans to try and find the others.

Though, it may prove difficult, I'll try and find them whatever it takes!

My thoughts were then interrupted by the soft spoken voice of the fair lady holding me. She had soft looking black hair and delicate grey eyes. Her face was itched with worry.

"Isn't she quite calm for a baby? Aren't babies normally supposed to cry? Dear... there isn't anything wrong right?"

She turned her gaze over to the man that was standing near Muiyu. I turned to look over at her direction.
He seemed to have the same soft looking black hair, but instead of having grey eyes, he had dark, deep blue eyes.

"I'm sure she's fine. Maybe she's just a bit special in our case. Having said that, special is good. That makes her unique from other children."

"If you say so, I suppose you're right... Dear, what should we name her? She inherited your eyes, so I think you should name her."

She glanced lovingly at me, which made me feel guilt, as I don't think anyone would want to have a child that has a mental mind of a 15-year-old.

"We should name her... Yes... I have a perfect name for her. We should name her Victoria. Victoria Khunis. Welcome to the Khunis family, Victoria..."

He came closer and lifted me off my supposed mother's arms, and held me himself. I didn't notice before, but up close, he looked young and handsome. I looked around the room. I noticed that all of them looked young and beautiful.

Wait, does that mean I'm going to be growing up to be beautiful as well? I mean, I don't mind, but I prefer to not have anyone's attention directed at me.

My father then started to craddle me in his arms, making me feel sleepy.

I'm way too tired to think now... I'll just go to sleep and see what happens tomorrow.

I closed my eyes, finding myself quickly, going into a deep sleep.
The last thing I heard was my father saying goodnight.
