Chapter 11: Golden Baby

2 months had past since Valarie and Connor had this fight. Connor tried his best to asked for forgiveness. Valarie has been always out, helping the mothers of the pack, while Connor stays at the office and finish his alpha duties. They misses each other but Valarie is pushing them away.

Anne, is now with the packs other slut, talking how good Connor, how sweet he is. Valarie calms her wolf and do the Luna work.

Luna? "A woman's voice said"

As she turned she saw old lady, maybe on 30's. She saw that she's' holding a baby, a infant baby.

Please, I'm begging you take my baby. "She cried"

W-Why? "Valarie asked"

I'm dying and no one is going to take of my baby "she said"

Just then, the woman gave her the baby. As Valarie took the baby. The woman collapsed. Valarie yelled for help and soon the helpers came.

Pick up the woman! "She said"

As soon the helpers go the direction, they looked at her confusing.

Pick her up! "She command"

But Luna, there is no woman here. "One of the helpers said"

She turned around and saw the woman is gone! How is it possible! She looked at the baby and she saw a baby boy. As soon as she realized she went running back to the pack house! She smelt the most addictive smell but she pushed it away! She run to her room and she lay the baby down.

Just then she unwrapped the blanket around the baby boy and she saw, pale skin, pink with reddish lips, pink cheeks, a very perfect baby! She saw a necklace that cursive.

"Xavier"

The baby boy opened his eyes and Valarie gasp and scream! The baby boy has golden eyes! Just then the door open and she smelt him.

W-What happened?! "Connor asked"

T-The baby has a Golden eyes! "She yelled"

Connor went to the baby and he gasped as he saw the gold eyes!

Where did you get this baby? "He asked"

The woman gave me the baby and she told me that she's dying and as I took the baby she collapsed and I called for helpers. I still saw her there, just then the helpers got there and I told them to pick her up and they looked at like I'm a crazy shit and as I turned she was not there!!! "She said"

Connor picked her up and hugged her,

It's okay baby. "He said"

She snuggled closer and inhaling him. She misses his scent and love.

What are we gonna do? "He asked"

She looked at him and glances at the baby.

Were gonna keep him. "She said"

What are we gonna name him? "He asked"

She smiled and she remember when the baby boy opened his eyes.

Xavier. "She said"

He smiled and kissed her forehead.

I'm sorry baby "He said"

She didn't move she just stayed silent.

He sighed. He grabbed her hand and kissed it.

I'm so sorry, I didn't choose her over you. I have my responsibility to her, you see she's the daughter of Alpha John and since my late dad was a friend of her dad I have to keep an eye on her. "He said"

She looked at him searching if there is a lie but she saw honesty and understanding. She sighed and rested her head on him,

Just don't fucking hold her, or I'll kick her ass. If she want war, I won't fight down! "She growled"

He laughed and kissed her sweet and soft lips. Just then a baby cry.

I think, we need to get the pack doctor, don't you think? "He asked"

I think we should find some answer. "She said"

They both stood up, Valarie wrapped Xavier making him safe. They both went to the pack doctor.

This baby is a golden baby "The pack doctor said"

Valarie keep on rocking the baby.

A golden baby is a very special baby. Base on my research: the moon goddess, Selene accidentally mate her self with his brother Helios. They created a baby with super unknown power, they called him Golden baby. The baby is not gold as for the skin, but his eyes.

Selene and Helios worried about so they sent the baby down to earth. But the question is, why would the moon goddess pick you? "The pack doctor asked"

Valarie growled at him! He insulted her!

Base on my own theory, maybe something about you that catches the attention of the parents, so they've decided to sent him to you as your own responsibility as your own son. "He said"

I looked at Connor who was staring at me. Son?

Connor looked Valarie. He knows that she wanted to keep the baby. He wants her to be happy with him. But this is a blessing from the moon goddess and the sun god himself.

We will keep the baby, just give us appointment to the monthly check up of Xavier. "He said"

Valarie looked at him with wide eyes. Connor wants the baby? To keep it? She can't speak.

Okay, I just need the name of the baby. "The pack doctor said"

Xavier, "Connor said"

He looked at Valarie like, he wanted her to continue.

Xavier, Xavier Cole Matthews "She said"

Connor's eyes widen. She uses his last name as Xavier's last name.

Connor, looked at me "Valarie said"

Connor looked at her with pure love!

Connor, this is not our biological baby, but we will treat him as our son, okay? "She said"

He grin and kissed her!
