Your POV// in school the next day:
It was 5th period and you had gym. Your gym teacher was absent meaning there was a substitute and she gave you free time to play around.
You groan and sit down lazily, rubbing your forehead.
"Eh, you're tired already?" Taehyung walks upto me, holding a basketball in the crook of his arm beside him.
"My head hurts. Must've been from last night. Tao said I drank too much."
He nods and sits down beside me, resting his head on my shoulder.
We both remain silent as he almost starts dozing off. I lean my head back on the wall, closing my eyes.
Suho forcefully woke all of us up today morning, scolding us to go to school. What a drag.
Wait a huge goddamn minute. I have a house of my own and a life of my own, why am I even listening to them?! They're merely my best friends.
Aah, today I'll go back to my actual home, get a cup of coffee and snacks, put on Netflix and enjoy in my fluffy heaven, aka, bed.
My thoughts are harshly interrupted by the bell and my eyes flutter open. There's a male student standing over me, he's probably the football captain.
"Y'all have been sleeping the whole class period. Get up." He says and walks away.
Taehyung is still sound asleep on my shoulder as the gym gets empty. He's a deep sleeper, if the bell can't wake him up, I don't know what's more louder.
I don't want to wake him up, but I have to go to my next class. Especially since the gym is now being filled with the next period classes.
I see Suho in that class, oh so he has 6th period gym. He notices us and walked upto us, staring at me.
"It's been 43 seconds and counting since the bell rang." He says in a matter-of-fact way.
He grabs Taehyung by the hair suddenly, tilting his head back to look at him better.
"Aish---let go!" V yelled and punched Suho hard enough for them to be far apart now.
"Go to class. Get up, and head to class before I give you both after school detention."
"You can't do that!" I frown at Suho.
"He could actually. He's the president of the student council and vice disciplinarian." Taehyung said and gets up with a sigh, pulling me up beside him.
I stretch lazily and head out of the gym before I hear Suho call out, "..And stay away from V and any of Bangtan!"
That was enough to ruin my mood so I yell back without thinking. "Well, fuck you too!"
I head into my next class which is art. There's no familiar faces except Jungkook and Baekhyun.
I tie my white apron around my waist, heading to both of them.
Jungkook and Baekhyun greet me with a smile, waving slightly.
"Class, there seems to be a teachers meeting all of a sudden. For now, I need you to draw something. Don't just sit idle because you teacher isn't here." A teacher announces and leaves the room.
"Baekhyun, sit in front! I'll try to draw a portrait of you." I smile brightly and he nods, sitting on a small chair.
"No, don't look straight at me. You're too pretty and handsome. Tilt your head a bit in the other direction." I order him and take my paint brush. He seemed to blush slightly but I let that pass.
I dipped my paint brushes in pastel creme, carving out outlines of his features. I didn't need a pencil to do it.
Not soon after, I finished more than half of his face.
"Wow, you're amazing! Y/N~ah, draw me next." Jungkook pouts and I nod, causing him to smile happily.
{The drawing at the way beginning of this chapter is what the painting looks like}
I frown when I see Baekhyun frowning too. "Baek, smile. It was part of the portrait."
He shakes his head, looking away quietly.
"Byun, go back to that position! You're ruining the whole portrait!" I say in annoyance.
"Why don't you go back to wherever you were, you're ruining my life!" He snaps suddenly, storming out of the classroom.
I was silent, frozen and taking time to digest it all.
"Let it be, he's stressed." Jungkook strokes my back before looking back at the painting.
He takes the brush from my hand, dipping it in a light pink shade and carving a smile on Baekhyun's face.
"Everyone's acting harsh and different today. Tao and Lay were arguing on the way to school, Suho was rude and now Baekhyun just storms out of the class." I sigh.
"Well, there's stuff going on. It'll be fine soon." Jungkook smiles after finishing the painting.
"You know anything about it?" I turn to look at him, frowning sadly.
"I know everything. I overheard Rapmon and Suho talking last night on call."
"What did you hear? Like, what do you know?" I ask, worrying.
"Kai, he's not sick or anything. I don't know what they told you about Kai--"
"They told me he threw up from drinking too much last night so they took him to the hospital." I interrupt.
"That's a lie, he's locked in their basement. Anyways, it seems as if they're using you for something. I didn't hear what. They were talking about Sehun something and how to take him back. I don't know. But~the good thing is~Rapmon was on call with Suho-ssi and it seems your two leaders Xiumin and Suho-hyungs are meeting up tomorrow night by the harbor. Wanna go check it?" Jungkook asked me, his innocnet dark brown eyes shining.
I don't want to say that I might have a crush on him, but I think of him as my best friend. If I was another girl, I would say he is perfect. As if god himself crafted him very gently and precisely.
I nod slowly, fitting everything he said into my head.
"Great. Meet up at my house tomorrow night, okay?" He asked, a cheeky smile across his face.
I think about it for a while and nod, and he later writes down his address. I tuck it in my sweater pocket, smiling.
"I'll go look for Baekhyun, take care Kookie." I grin and ruffle his hair softly, skipping out of class carefully.
