Ki cautiously stuck out an arm and closed the door, the wood slid shut with a click. Ki let out a shaky breath, he had felt overwhelmed and run away, again. 

Huffing quietly Ki ran a steady hand over Morrow's sleek fur, the trained feline purred in appreciation "C'mere," Ki commanded, patting the brown rug he was curled up on. Morrow pricked his ears attentively before trotting over, satisfied. 

Only once Morrow had released the package at his feet did Ki speak "I'm sorry for making you carry something heavier than you're used too," he apologized in a murmur. Murrow stared unblinkingly at him, single eye twinkling. 

"Who was that?" Ki muttered, an afterthought to the whole event. 

He supposed he would have to avoid the new neighbor, after that impression.

Chris ran a light stroke over the darkening canvas, bathed in the afternoon's light. 

He thought back to the strange cat, and the strangely apologetic note Well I don't think whoever that guy was is bad or anything, I guess, his internal thoughts swirled around him, and before he knew it there was a flower forming among the light brush strokes, blues faded to splotchy and ghost-like wisps of red, a stark crimson forming a delicate shell, the flower looked out of place, yet it stood, defined in it's uniqueness. 

A balsam, otherwise known as the touch-me-not. 

How fitting for his new neighbor.
