Hello readers this is a new work of mine it's Romance and Chicklit (Not Islamic Fiction) I've began writing it and I hope you enjoy it. The updates maybe slow because it is a work in progress but I hope you grow to like it!

All the italics bits are the main character's memories and everything written in normal front is the present.

For Get Me Not

I'm Lacy Winter and I  like to think I’m a girl who has her life and priorities straight.

Maybe I am that girl or maybe I’m in denial.

Well I think I was the girl who had her life pieced together; but when he came back into my life it was like I fell to pieces.

The memories and emotions still raw I’d not even had the time to get over him and it had been seven years.

Seven years of rebuilding my life from my biggest regret.

That’s right if I could capture time I never would have let you go…

But I can’t go back in time, can I?

I can’t stop the vile and demeaning persuasion they did to me, what they did to us.

If only the past was the past things would be so much simpler, I could at least pretend I was happy.

But now I see him every day and it’s just so hard to escape the what could have been… It’s hard to escape the feelings I still have for him and my reality is leaving me lost for words…
