Just Want to Dance

Up the street down the road, on the left, you must know.  There's a boy who is always dreaming. He dreams every day every night, I must say, in his dreams he is fine and dancing, 

He can dance up a storm, for the ladies applause.  In his dreams, he has all the girl by his side.

But my boy Jimmy Lee, when he woke from his dream he was angry and pissed all the time.  He went to school every day, alone I must say, for Jimmy Lee didn't have any friends. 

In a school with no friends, Jimmy Lee was so sad, hoping that someone will just say hi.  Then one day out the blue, a girl in the school's pool asked Jimmy Lee to dive in.  He jumped in and he swam, he was a happy lad, for Jimmy Lee had just made a friend.  This cool he believes,  if she dances with him, all needed to do it's just asked.

Her name was Susan, a pretty young girl, with pony tales down to her knees.  As she smiles and said, boy what's your name.   Jimmy Lee smile and then said, My name is Jimmy Lee, I know your name, I've seen you in school many times.  

So you say you know my name, were you spying on me, let me know for I think that is weird.    

No, it's not what you think, what I meant, I'll repeat, you are in my history class. I don't want to spook you, for I think you are cool. and right now, you're the only friend I have.

 I think that sad, I must say, I guess friends we will stay, a day ago I've lost all my friends.  I left my boyfriend, he's a  pig, who I never care to see again, he likes to hit me every now and then, somehow I grew to hate him.

Jimmy Lee stared at her, she was so pretty it hurt, just to knew that someone, hurt her heart. He then gave her a smile, he extended his hand out, I will be your friend to the end.

The two met after school, then they walked, just them two on, their own way.  But they found each other, now the days will get better, for they both now had a friend.

As they walked down the street, then they glance and they see, a bulletin board announcing something great.  I dancing contest, that Jimmy Lee wants to win, but one thing he needs is a partner.

Jimmy Lee looked her way but was too afraid to ask, so he turned and walked away.  Then Susan screamed boy wait for me, Jimmy Lee I have a great idea.
