'Cause it only breaks my heart
to see you goin through this
to see you goin through this
and there's nothing that I can do
and it only breaks my heart,
you don't have to do this
I've got nothing to hold on to
'Cause you keep slipping away,
a little bit more everyday now
feels like I'm running in place
you keep slipping away away
just when I get you alone
it feels like I'm on my own
like the tears running down on your face
you keep slipping away away, you keep slipping away

I woke up hearing my bloody alarm clock crying out loud trying to break my head in two. I groaned as I buried my face in my purple pillow before throwing it away angrily.
''For crying out loud, you damn alarm clock! '' I growled as I grabbed the bloody alarm and turned it off. I sighed in relief. ''Finally! I hate that sound. ''
I felt tired from last night and the first thing that came in my mind was Evan. He kissed me like he had never kissed me before but...He hesitated all of the sudden. I frowned slightly. Didn't he miss me as I've missed him? Or he still holds a grudge on me?
I sighed out of exasperation as I jumped out of my bed. I looked around the room. I raised a brow. Where's Ashley? ''Ashley? '' I called out loud. ''Where's that Blondie? ''
I searched the room but didn't find. I rolled my eyes and stopped looking for her. She'll come around. She always come around.
I grabbed my phone from my bronze clutch. There were 2 missed calls and 10 messages making me frown. Reading the messages. They were all from Alette. Alette!
''Oh, shit! '' I hissed at myself. ''I forgot! I have to go to Alette's today. ''
I quickly ran towards the bathroom and showered as fast as I could. I stepped out of the shower after drying myself and dressed myself as fast as I could. I decided to wear a nice sun dress. I wore a low-cut viridian knee-length sun dress with spaghetti-thin straps that wraps around my neck showing my bare back. I also wore a complimenting pair of gold strap heels and let my chest nut hair gracefully lay on my bare shoulders and bare back.
I texted Ashley telling her I'll be going to Alette's.
I took a cab and in just around 15minutes, I got there at the Leighton's residence. That extended three-story house painted with white and blue reminded me of countless memories of my childhood. I love spending my summer there.
Behind that steel gate was a nice garden of pretty flowers that made the aura of the place sunny and happy. I entered the open gate and the familiar surrounding made me smile. Around the house was a wide back yard. I noticed there were people there. I approached the familiar faces there.
