The surface

You are in your new house on the surface, the humans were very kind towards the monsters and the humans didn't even care if you're half human half angel, they were kind enough to build the monsters their own houses, you live with Toriel and Asriel but you wanted Frisk to live with you too because you were the only human in the house but there isn't enough space so Frisk had to live with Sans and Papyrus. You are in the backyard playing with Asriel because everyone else seems to be busy "so, what do you want to play, Asriel?" You asked "I don't know, I'm just sooooo bored right now...." He replied "me too" You said as you two lay down on the smooth yet spiky grass with beautiful and colourful flowers, you two lay down beside each other while looking up at the clouds "oh hey, that cloud looks like a butterfly!" Asriel said as he pointed at one of the clouds "oh yeah, it does" You said. Later, you two were so busy pointing at clouds and saying what they look like that you didn't notice that Toriel had just came in the house from shopping "Children, I'm home!" Toriel said as she put the groceries in the kitchen, you and Asriel instantly got up and ran to the kitchen "mom! Where have you been!?" Asriel said as you two hugged her "what? I've wrote you a letter that I am going shopping on the fridge" Toriel said "we know! But you've been shopping for like" you took a glance at the clock "6 hours!" You said "oh I am so sorry for making you worry, my children, I was stopped by some humans" Toriel said as she kissed you two on the forehead even though you're 19 years old and Asriel was 18 years old (Frisk is 16 years old) "humans huh? What did they do?" You asked "well, for starters, they asked A LOT of questions about me and monsters" Toriel replied "oh ok" You said remembering about your brother "but one of his friends had black eyes" Toriel said as you quickly looked at her "wait what? Black eyes?" You asked as Toriel nodded, you remembered your brother's friends Matt, Tom and Tord they were your kindergarten friends and your brother's best friends, you and them actually had a lot in common and became good friends "is the guy who had black eyes wearing a blue hoodie? And like, spiky hair?" You asked "um, yeah actually...." Toriel asked "and is the guy that was asking you questions was wearing a green hoodie and has brown hair?" You asked as Toriel nodded again, you and Asriel made a gasped face and looked at each other in surprise leaving Toriel standing there, confused "uh, Toriel, where did you go grocery shoping?" You asked "uh, at the store that was near a park where you, Frisk and Asriel usually hang out" Toriel replied "ok thanks! We need to go now, bye!" You quickly said as Asriel grabbed your hand and sprinted to the store "I can't see them anywhere!" Asriel said as you arrived at the store, it was not actually far from your home, you two stopped and looked around "aww, we're late, they already left" You said walking under a tree at the park and sat down covering your face with your knees and hands and wrapped yourself with your angel wings, you cried and hugged your knees thighter. Asriel stood not too far from you and looked at you

Asriel's P.O.V

I looked at (Y/n) who was crying, she wrapped herself like a ball, I couldn't stand looking at her like this, she is so sad and depressed, It's so sad because I KNOW what it feels like, she can't find her brother, I lost my sister, and now I'm like, (Y/n)'s brother now! And I kind of liked it, I've lost my sister once and now I'm not gonna loose (Y/n)! Putting aside the fact that Frisk is apart of our family now, but they kind of hang out with the others more instead of me, but (Y/n) relate to me more than the others, and I promised Chara to keep
(Y/n) happy because (Y/n) was Chara's best friend before they met me

FLASHBACK

"Ch-Chara! Please, don't go! I... I need you!" Asriel said as he layed Chara on his knees, (Y/n) kneeled down beside him and cried "cough, cough d-don't worry about me, even when I'm gone, I'll always be there for you guys..." Chara said as she started fading "no no no! Please, Chara!" (Y/n) said "A-Asriel, I need to tell you something..." Chara said "ok, tell me!" Asriel said as his tears fell on the ground "promise me, to take care of (Y/n) when I'm gone..." Chara said "o-okay! I promise! But please don't go!" Asriel screamed "I'm sorry bro, I'm sorry (Y/n), but my time is up" Chara said "remember, I'll always be watching...." She closed her eyes and you two cried

END OF FLASHBACK

(Still Asriel's point of view by the way) I sighed and looked at her, I have to do something to make her happy, I would give up anything to male her happy! Just to keep that promise! I walked over to her and sat beside her "hey (Y/n), don't cry, we'll find your brother someday and I'm always hppy to help!" I said as she looked at me, she wiped away her tears and smiled "t-thanks, Asriel..." (Y/n) said as she hugged me as I hugged her back "now c'mon, let's go home, Toriel must be worried" I said as I helped her to get up "ok" She said as we started to walk home

3rd person's P.O.V

You and Asriel finally came back home "we're back!" Asriel screamed as you smiled, you two sat on the couch and watched TV all day, you were kind of on your phone listening to music all day long
