[CHAPTER 8]
I don't know what to tell him. Do I tell him about my nightmare? Or should I just lie and make something up. He probably already feels bad for me because I am crying. "Uh...." I swipe the tears away from my face as fast as I can. *I can't believe I'm crying in front of him again.* I thought. "I had a dream about my mom. It was so real though. I could FEEL her." I said. I held in the tears, I don't want to cry again.
"Oh I'm sorry. Do you want to talk about it? When I have nightmares my mom has me tell her about them to help." I nod. I tell him in detail about my dream. About how no on as in the hospital all they way to him waking me up. "Wow. I'm so sorry. I dorm even know what to say." He said to me not looking away from my eyes.
"It's fine." I just now noticed he was wearing different clothes than before. "Where did you get the clothes?" I asked ceriously.
"Oh Nash is here. He went down stairs to get coffee. Should be back any second." Right as he finished his sentence he walked in.
"Heyy!" He said to me in a sweet voice. "You okay?" He probably can tell that I was crying again by my puffy eyes. I nodded. "Okay, well here's some hot chocolate. Cameron said you don't like coffee. Is this okay?" He asked.
"Perfect." I responded. "Okay so what are we going to do today?" I am curious of what we could do with Cameron's foot hurt.
The boys looked at each other. "Vines." They laughed and so did I. I watched a few of their vines, they were hilarious. And now I was going to be in them?! What! This is just beginning to seem like another dream.
We went to the nurses desk to ask if we could check Cameron out yet. "Yes, but for the day you are going to have to wear these pants." She handed him a pair of blue pants that you see doctors wearing when they go into surgery. Cameron took them and made a face, making it clear he didn't want to wear them.
"Can we have two more of those please?" Nash asked the nurse. She grabbed two more and handed them to him. We walked away and Nash finally said what he was doing with the extra pairs. "Here you go Laurie. One for all of us." And we put the blue pants over our jeans and we left the hospital. Cameron was falling behind with his crutches so we walked shower so he didn't feel beind.
"I need to go home and change." I said to the boys. They nodded and we all climbed into Cameron's car that Nash must have brought over. I told him how to get to my house and I ran inside as fast as I could to get changed.
"So. How's Cameron?" My dad questioned.
"He fine now. We were going to go hang out for a little bit, try to take his mind off of it. If that's okay?" I really hoped he didn't say now. I wanted to hang out with the boys so badly.
He nodded. "Just please be safe."
"Of course daddy." I ran up to my room and grabbed a t-shirt and a new pair of jeans. I slipped both on and put the blue doctor pants over. I ran out to the car and hopped in. I'm so ready for this day.
"Where to?" Cameron asked. I looked at Nash.
"Let's go get some snacks. I'm hungry." He nodded and we found our way to the nearest CVS. We all hopped out and went inside. There was a group of girl in the candy isle apparently having the same idea as us. The boys saw the girls and started to turn around. I wasn't sure why but I followed them.
We almost cleared the isle when a girl goes, "Oh my gosh! Is that Nash Grier?!" And another goes, "And Cameron Dallas?!" Their small group of about 6 girls came running over to us asking for pictures.
Cameron looked at me with an apologetic look. I understood that he went through this a lot, but I didn't so u wasn't to mad. I was kind of excited. I was the girl that was hanging out with Cameron Dallas and Nash Grier. The girls kept looking at me. I could tell that they didn't know who I was, I was just standing there watching.
"Who are you?" One of the girls asked me with a rude tone in her voice.
I didn't know what to respond. And I just friends with them? A stranger? Is there even a possibility that I am Cameron's girlfriend? I opened my mouth to say something and closed it just as quickly. I looked at Cameron and Nash for help. "She's with us." Said Cameron not leaving eye contact with me. I smiled. But it still didn't answer all these questions I had.
"Stay away." Said a mother girl in the back of the group. I couldn't see her face, and frankly I didn't want to.
"Okay time to go." Said Nash. "Bye girls." He said waving and a fake smile.
We tried to go about our business but they continued to follow us. And it looked like more and more girls were adding on to the group. I looked to the boys to see if they noticed. It didn't look they were paying attention, not they are just good at faking.
I keep looking behind me watching them follow us. The girls keep giving me an evil face, obviously saying that they don't like me. "Hey Laurie! Take a picture of us!" Said Nash. He handed his phone out to me and I took it. He stood next to Cameron. I took the picture and smiled.
"Here." I handed his phone back to him. He took it.
"Okay now you two." He said pushing me towards Cameron. I giggled because he was sort of tickling me. He took Cameron's phone from him and we smiled as Nash took the picture.
"Okay I'm ready to go. I'm tired. These things are hard." He said motioning to his crutches. We checked out and walked to the car.
"Okay where to next?" Asked Nash.
"Well. I told Laurie I was going to take her the the fair today, but I hurt my foot. So let's all go to the fair. Is that okay?" He asked me. I nodded with a smile. I am excited.
"I've never been to a fair before." I said quietly.
"Well you" Nash said poking my arm. "are missing out." He laughed and so did I.
"OFF TO THE FAIR WE GO!" Cameron yelled from the back seat. We all laughed.
