I found 3 baby birds, have 3 dogs on all sides, and cats in the surrounding area. we waited from 4 pm to sun set (around 8:30 ish) for any mama birds to check on them, but we didn't see any.
I was walking home from school and passed by a big tree in my yard. I nearly stepped on one and it started yelling. I looked around my feet and found a total of 4, but one had already passed away.
I ran inside grabbed a tub and a couple of towels. I laid one of the dish cloths inside the tub and used the other to pick them up and set them in it.

My dad and I waited from 4 till sun set for the mama to come to find them. We had them left by the tree, until it got too cold. We then brought them inside.

One was loud every time it saw me, and would eat. One would eat, but wouldn't make a noise. And one refused to open its mouth.
