The next morning I woke up early, even though I didn't sleep but maybe two hours or something. My back ached from the stupid Air mattress, and it smelled like ashes all across the tent.
"Unicorn! You Awake?" I whispered.
No response.
"Unicorn!" I whispered a little more loud.
"Shut up." She muttered, "We don't have to leave yet, its Saturday."
"You dragged me to the fucking dessert for a shitty adventure and act like this?!" I hissed.
"Oh yeah, OK let's go. Pack the stuff!"
Luckily my magic made things shrink, so I packed our shit and dragged her out of the tent
"There are more civil ways to do that, you know that right?" Unicorn mumbled, standing Up slowly.
"OK, cut to the chase!" I said, "Why are we here!"
"All will be told in time." She cooed, walking away quickly.
"...Fine." I growled, catching up with her as she danced around.
We walked across the endless ocean of sand, dust blowing around our eyes and into our mouths. After a while I could make out something in the distance...moving..
"Unicorn!!! What the fuck is that?!?" I shouted, shaking her arm.
"Its nothing, I mean...it may be a giant worm or something but..." She said.
"GIANT WORM?!?" I screamed, I was breathing a lot.
"It's probably nothi-" she started, being cut off by a loud growl.
Suddenly, the sand erupted everywhere and a worm about 9 ft tall smacked her across the sand.
"UNICORN!" I screamed, pulling out my sword quickly.
"OK so maybe the worms a problem!" She screeched, quickly pulling out her sword to stab it.
"Attack its forehead!" I shouted, trying to reach its eyes.
"K!" She responded, tossing her blade at its forehead.
It fell back, crimson blood splashing around, and smacked the ground. Unicorn fell down, rolling over to stand up as I fell down.
"I told you there was something there!!!" I said.
"Yeah yeah, let's go." She hissed, tucking her sword back into its patch.
We walked more, the sun setting a little now. I had no idea what was gonna happen but we had to do something interesting eventually.
