Chapter 1: Bullies

"Huff! Huff!" The girl gasped out as she ran. "Hey come back here! We're not finished with you!" A boy yelled running after her. Echos of fast footsteps crawl through the hallways as another boy joins him.

"Get away!" She yells to them. As she turns around a corner, another boy suddenly tackles her to the ground with a big thud. "Gotcha, Jaquie!" (It sounds like Jacky) he says holding her down, but she was still. The two boys that was chasing her caught up and stared down at her huffing.

"Dude," says the first boy. "You killed her." The boy on top of her rolls off and looks at her.
"N-no. I couldn't have." He takes her arm and pulls her to her side, putting his hand on the back of her head. He felt a big bump and takes his hand back. There's a small amount of blood on the palm of his hand.

"C'mon, we gotta go!" The second boy yells as they start taking off down the hallway. Jaquelyn barely opens her eyes. Everything seems blurry and there's a throbbing pain in the back of her head.

A teacher comes up the hallway and noticed her on the floor. "Oh my God! We need to call the hospital!" She kneels down beside Jaquelyn and quickly takes her phone out of her pocket. Everything slowly fades into pitch black darkness, and all sound is drowned out.
