Imprinting Gone Wrong: No hard Feelings?

~Chapter 8/ Bella’s P.O.V~

I held Edward’s hand tightly as we made our way over to Aaron: who was standing at the other end of the forest looking smug.

“Aaron!” I said through gritted teeth “hey beautiful” he leered at me and Edward snarled “I don’t want you to come anywhere near my husband, do you understand?” I snapped. He chuckled darkly “and why is that?” he replied innocently “why do you think?...You’ve been bullying him” Edward tensed beside me and I pulled him closer “it’s his fault” Aaron stated “how?” I really wasn’t in the mood for this “well…because, he’s in the way…I love you, I’ve imprinted on you…you’re my other half” he sunk to his knees. I sighed and began walking over to him “Bella…don’t” Edward pulled me back “Edward love, please give me a minute” he nodded slightly.

I walked over to Aaron and stood him up “look Aaron…I know it’s hard, I mean…I’ve got a daughter who’s been imprinted on. I know you mean no harm intentionally…” I trailed off “Bella…I’m sorry, I didn’t mean for this to happen. If I could control it, I would. I know that what I’ve done is wrong and I apologize…will you forgive me please?” I sighed “Aaron…it’s not me you should be apologizing too” he nodded and walked over to Edward “Edward…sorry” Edward didn’t say anything he just moved back. “Edward…what are you….I won’t do anything…I’m sorry” Edward continued to walk backwards and Aaron stalked him like prey.

“Hey Aaron!” I called, he turned around “just leave him…” he nodded and walked back over to me “I should probably be going…” I nodded “No hard feelings?” he asked holding his hand out, I shook it. “Don’t worry about it” with that said he left.

I walked back to Edward who was staring into space “are you okay?” I asked, he nodded “I’m fine…can we go?” I nodded and we walked back to the cottage hand in hand.
