(A/N Please don't hate me for putting certain character's lines into other's mouths. It will probably happen again in this book)

Sam yawns as he steps out of the taxi, moving to the trunk to get the bags.

"Five in the morning flight." He mutters, hauling the duffels out of the back. "A little help guys?"

Dean is leaning against the taxi, seeming to fall asleep, and Cas is beside him, shaking his shoulder. "Dean." His deep voice coos. Dean shakes awake and smiles when he sees Dean.

"Gay." Sam whispers as they pull away from the car and grab their bags.

"Whose idea was it to book 5 am flights?" Dean complains as he hails his to the sidewalk.

"Yours." Sam heaves the bag over his shoulder and walks to the doors. "At least we get to see the sunrise." He smiles looking behind him, but his mood fades when he sees the other 2 grumpy faces. "Ok, let's go."

"Damn morning people." Dean mutters as they walk to Customs and show their passports and plane tickets.

Walking through the airport, they check their bags, go through security, then wait for their flight to be called.

Minutes later, they board and find their seats on the plane. It's not a big plane, but there are still people crowding the aisles and talking as they store away their carryons. Dean and Cas are sitting together and Sam is on his own across the aisle. Sam hangs his head down, fishing his earbuds from his pocket, but before he can plug them in, a man sits next to him.

Sam looks over and nods at the man. He has smooth dark hair that is slicked back with gel, hard features and dark menacing eyes, but he smiles at Sam.

"Jim." He hold out his hand to shake, and Sam places his in the Jim's. He has a silky Irish accent and it seems to brighten his features.

"Sam." he gives the man a tight lipped smile, and suddenly understands why Dean and Cas were annoyed. Morning people.

The flight attendant give instructions and the fasten seatbelt sign comes on.

Looking across the aisle as the plane makes its way down the runway, Dean's hands are clamped tightly on the armrest. When Cas places his hand on Dean's he seems to relax a bit. Sam chuckles. "Gay." He whispers.

"Sorry, what was that?" The man next to him asks.

"Oh, uh." He clears his throat. "I mean, hey." He smiles at the man and he nods.

"Ah."

Once the plane is in the air, Jim looks over to Sam and smiles. "So London?"

"Uh yeah, going to visit some... friends." He lies.

"Ah, I see."

"You?" Sam says. He doesn't like small talk, but he sure is good at it.

"Some friends of mine died recently. Suicide actually, had to cut my vacation short."

Sam's heart jumps at that. Could it be the same case?

"You were vacationing in Colorado?" Sam chuckles and the man seems flustered.

"Oh, yeah. More of a business trip, actually." His face turns red and Sam almost can't help himself from laughing. Cute.

Sam looks out the window to see the dark ocean and he smiles. We're actually going to London. I've always wanted to go to London.

He looks across the aisle and Dean is asleep, his head leaning on Cas's shoulder and Cas looks approvingly at him. They are sharing earbuds and Sam knows that Cas doesn't like music, but he's doing it for Dean. Cas puts his hand on Dean's arm and Sam laughs.

"What's funny?" Jim asks, looking where Sam is.

"My brother is so gay. He refuses to admit it."

Jim smiles and glances at them. "I think they're a cute couple."

"Don't we all?" Sam smiles and leans his head back again.

The rest of the flight is relatively quiet and once they land, Sam looks over and see Dean, now awake, aggressively clutching the armrest again.

Cas too, seems afraid and Sam chuckles.

"Thanks for keeping me company on the flight." Sam says and smiles as Jim grabs his carry on from above the seats.

"No problem." Jim points at the seat and Sam sees a piece of paper. Picking it up, he sees a phone number written on it, next to a smiley face and he looks up to see Jim gone. Chuckling, he puts the paper in his pocket and joins Dean and Cas as they walk off the plane.

"How was the flight?" Sam asks as they wait for the luggage.

Dean mutters and Cas nods, clearly not hearing the question.

Sam sees his bag and rushes to get it, apologizing to people he accidentally brushes against. Within minutes, they all have their bags and exit the airport. They are taken aback by the buzz of the big city, people everywhere, cars honking and the English accents. Sam smiles, Dean scowls and Cas looks overwhelmed.

Hauling a taxi, Sam requests the cabbie take him to a motel and he rolls his eyes.

"Your loss buddy."

The comment doesn't faze Sam, he keeps smiling. They're in London after all.
