2. The Lost Daughter

"I had the most amazing dream yesterday, the best one I've had in a long time." Sapphire beamed

"What was it about?" Monica asked

"It was a cool summer's night and Michael Ealy, with his fine self, was sitting on a beach towel right in front of the sunset. He asks me to come over and sit with him and we look out to the horizon and watch the sun go down and finally, he takes his shirt off." She said biting down on her bottom lip

"Woah, already? What happened to foreplay?"

"Damn the foreplay. Michael Ealy is taking his shirt off without me asking, you think I would ruin the mood by asking for some foreplay? Anyway, he holds me tight in his arms as he starts kissing me on my neck and starts to work his way down and then my damn alarm goes off, interrupting my dream, damnit!" She fumed as she set the bowl of fruit on fire that was in front of her on the table

"Damn Saph, I was gonna eat me a banana." Monica said

"Who's got her all upset today?" Crystal asked walking into the kitchen noticing the bowl of fruit on fire

"Her dreams got interrupted by her alarm."

"Was it about Michael Ealy again?" Crystal asked as Monica nodded her head yes

"And we would've went all the way this time!" Sapphire steamed as she pointed at Crystal

"Please! Don't fry me! I get the point." Crystal said putting her hands up as they heard the front door close and the sounds of heels clicking on the marble floors

"Hello girls, how are we doing this morning?" Lauraine asked as she went into the fridge

"Fine." They all answered as Sapphire tried to cover the burning fruit

"Great, happy to hear that."

"How was the charity event?" Monica asked

"Adorable, just to see all those little kids faces, it really does my heart good. I love doing children's benefits."

"I know they were happy to see you too, they got a nice check out of it." Crystal said

"Yeah, but to me, it's not about the money, but about putting smiles on their faces. It's worth more than money to me."

"We're glad you had a good time." Sapphire smiled

"Now I must take these shoes off, they certainly don't make these for comfort, that's for sure." She said leaving the kitchen.
"Oh and another thing," She said snapping her fingers and the bowl of fruit returned back to normal. "The next time dear, you want to dream of Michael Ealy, put your alarm on silent or just turn it off." She winked

"She's good." Monica said as she picked up the banana and began to peel it.

Later, Sapphire, Mary and Crystal were in the living room watching a movie on the huge plasma screen TV.

"I feel a presence." Mary said as Sapphire rolled her eyes

"Duh, there's seven other people in this house." Sapphire said as Crystal giggled

"No, a new presence. I think someone's coming here." Mary said as Crystal got up from the couch and peeped out of the window

"Yep, she's right. Some chick is walking up the driveway."

"What does she want, Mary?" Sapphire asked

Mary closed her eyes and put two fingers on the sides of her head. "I don't know, she's blocking her intentions. I can't get anything."
