Birds are singing and the sun is shining as I begin walking home from the mines. Well, spring's better than summer...
My daydream is interrupted my a male voice. "Oh, hello Xena." Sebastian greets.
"Oh, hey! Didn't see you there!" I reply, looking down at one of my best friends. He's currently in the garage working on a... motorcycle? Although, he's currently sitting up on the working board thing just to talk to me.
He catches me expression and says, "What, you haven't seen my motorcycle before? Hmmm... I guess I haven't shown it to you."
The twenty-four-year-old lies down goes back to working on his motorcycle. "Sometimes, after sundown, I make the long ride out of Stardew Valley... There's nothing else like it, blazing along the empty stretch of road toward the faint city glow... Once I've saved up enough money, I'm going to head out on my own... to the city and beyond. Just me and my bike."
"Sounds... kinda lonely..."
"That's the point." he replies. Sebastian sits up from the board and informs, "There we go, oil's changed." I nod. "Hey... maybe I'll take you for a ride some day."
I smile at him. "That's cool. Although, I guess I'm kinda afraid of motorcycles..."
Sebastian walks over to me and pats me on the back. He turns his head away and says, "There's no need to worry... I'll make sure you're safe." Thank God he's looking away. Don't want him to see me blushing.
