GARDNER IMAGINE.
This was it. It was time finally time to say goodbye.
You never really expected to like him, it just happened.
"Goodbye, Gardner." You said trying your best to stay happy for him.
"Come with me." Gardner said, trying to convince you to come with him.
"I can't."
"Why not?" Gardner said, looking at you in the eyes.
"Because, I don't belong there; but you do." Your voiced cracked, you tried your best to keep your tears in your eyes.
"Then what about us?" He asked, starting to get depressed at the situation.
"Don't worry, Gardner; I'll know we'll meet again someday." You said not knowing if you were.
"Someday." Gardner repeated.
"You should go. It's better if you leave soon, we don't know what might happen to you."
Gardner was about to say something, but just hugged you.
"I'll be okay." You said, hugging tighter.
"Keep in contact,okay?" Gardner said, still not letting go of me.
"I promise."
He then turned around going into the spaceship, but not before saying something.
"I'll see you later." Gardner said, waving at me
I just nod in response.
As the door closes, I watch him leave the Earth's atmosphere; then I turned around and went back home.
