"I love you" that's not a sentence I say often but recently I can't seem to stop saying it...
"No you don't, Megan!"
"Yes...I do...just trust me" I answered.
"Then why did you do it? Why have you been lying to me?" he exclaimed.
"I didn't. I never did and I never will, you know that!" I could feel my heart throbbing in my chest as if it were about to explode through my rib cage. He won't listen to me, he never does. My mother would say that's what you get for dating a guy like him. What ever mum... "Jai, listen...I...I just..."
"No, Megan, no. You need to learn that what you did was wrong!" I could hear his voice cracking. I started to well up in tears.
"Jai! Nothing happened between me and your brother. I love you, why don't you believe me?"
He looked me in the eye "Because you never did" and at that he walked away.
I collapse onto the floor of his room. The door slammed behind him and sent a cold shiver down my spine. Tears running down my face, only silent sobs passing my lips. I never meant for this to happen...
