In the shadows (Jai Brooks Fan Fic)

Chapter 2 ~ March 21st 2013

"You two need to get a room" Luke chuckled whilst he nudged me gently in the ribs. A small smirk formed on my face, Jai must have realised as he withdrew his lips from mine.

“You’re just jealous that you’re not the one with Jai” I winked at Luke and he sticks his tongue out at me as if he were two years old again. “That’s the Luke I know” even though he knows it, he pretends to ignore my comment and carries on messing with the camera. I was about to turn around when I felt a sharp pinch just above my waist, I yelped and fell off of Jai’s lap.

“You silly girl! Is it that hard to sit on my lap properly?” Jai said in an overly exaggerated sarcastic tone.

“Well, Mr Brooks... Perhaps if I wasn’t molested by a certain someone’s wondering hands, then I would still be sitting firmly on your lap!” I exclaim as I try to regain what is left of my dignity.

“Oh, I see, using big words are we now?” He gave me a cheeky wink before he slithers his arms undermine and hoists me up with no effort at all. As I regain my footing, I slowly look up to see Jai’s smiling face looking straight back. After what felt like eternity of looking into his drop dead gorgeous eyes, he quickly steals a kiss and wonders off. I stood in the middle of the living room, with my eyes still shut, after being tranquilised by the tenderly, tasty, soft lips that belong to the best boyfriend a girl could have.

“Are you coming or not?” James shouts from down the hall, he walks into the very room where I am standing. “Megan, umm, are you okay?” He asks me with a certain amount of concern on his face.

I quickly snap out of the trance. “Umm...Yeah, I’m perfectly okay, better than okay really” the smirk somehow managed to find its way on to my lips again, giving away a little more than it should.

“Are you high?”

I shout, with a shocked expression and a little more anger than expected “What!? Are you crazy, James you know I don’t smoke, so why would I be high!?"

“Well you are living in a house with the Janoskians and even you know about the drug bust” He answers jokingly. I laughed at his little comment and nodded in agreement. “So are you coming then?” James repeated.

“Yeah course I am. Where are we going?” I asked, just to make sure whether I needed a coat or not...

“I genuinely have no idea, ask Beau” He shouts as he walks away, back through the door and down the hallway. So I guess its nowhere in particular I thought as I grabbed my coat and stuff my phone in the pocket.

"Beau..." I asked cautiously as I walked down the hall. "Do you know where we are going?"

"It's a suprise for the girls!" A massive grin appeared his face. That only happens when he is talking about her. His over protective, lying, current girlfriend. God I hate her I thought as soon as I saw her face. I have no idea why I hate her, I just do! She is older then me and thinks she owns me. Umm none of that.

“LILYBET!” Beau shouted. “Lilybet, Lilybet, Lilybet” He repeated as he hooked his arms around her incredibly tiny waist to pull her groin closer to his. She chuckled a little as Beau started to kiss up and down her neck. God I hate her... I stood there staring at the two of them, giggling and kiss. Urgh I thought. Is this what I look like when I’m with Jai? I hope not!

As I turned round to walk away, Jai was walking out of his room. He was wearing his new fitted jeans I had picked out for him and a tight, slim fitted top which showed off his abs perfectly. His arms look they are about to rip the sleeves off. AS he got closer his cologne smelt stronger and strong, the smell enveloped my nose and sent me into a trance I was all too familiar with. When he eventually saw me looking, he twisted me round and placed his arm over my shoulder and I slithered mine round his waist. I can feel the body heat radiating off him, which made me want to jump on him there and then.
