Everyone is different. We are all unique in our own ways. Little or big.

So, why do we still struggle to be someone else? Why do we work hard to reach the expectations of another person? Why can't we be ourselves?

The feeling of having to be a better, bigger and be a different person from who you really are is not a great thing.

"Make sure you do good or else."

"Don't let anyone down."

"You have to do it.

"You know what to do."

Those kinds of words can start everything.

The pressure of being someone you aren't. Someone you don't want to be. Someone who will never be you.

We all feel this way in different situations.

We all try to fit in with everyone else. But while do so, we often forget about ourselves.

Everyone has an iPhone and you don't?

You beg your parents to buy you one. Even if you already know that it's too expensive.

All the popular girls in your school are using the same famous makeup brands?

You ask you dad to buy you all of them. Even if you know yourself that you won't be able to use everything.

We all try and try to fit in. Fit in where we don't belong.

But sometimes we compare ourselves to people who tell us we don't need to.

Why? I don't know.

Your mom's a doctor? Your dad's an engineer?

You don't need to be like them.

Your brother is good in Math and you aren't? Your sister has a boyfriend and you don't?

You are not supposed to be like them.

The people close to you are there to help you find out about you. Not find out on who you need to be.

Don't compare.

Someone says you need to pass the next test?

Ace the test.

Someone says you need to get a boyfriend when you turn eighteen?

Get a boyfriend at nineteen just to play with them. You don't need to rush these kinds of things.

Take your flippin time and be who you were meant to be.
