She stared at that couple again. It was now her routine to come in this park and stare at that couple, they looked like them exactly. Looking at them, she used to remember how Shahmir used to stare at her when she was saying something to her, how he used to smile at her all annoying and funny gestures, how he used to hold her hand while walking, how they used to lay down under the sky full of stars in silence.

She looked up at the sky. The sun was setting.

' Tell me that I am your sunset.'

'No you're not.'

'What? I hate you okay?'

'You're my sunrise. You are the sunlight that enlightens my day and brings a warm smile on my face. You're the reason I wake up with a hope in my heart, and you're the reason of every single joy in my life, I loved you, I love you, and I will continue to love you till I die.'

Kashaf sighed. Her eyes were again full of tears. She missed all these whispers he used to do. She never knew that she will fall in love with Shahmir after his death.

This is what you call the law of karma, this is what we call revenge taken by fate!

Once more, Sikander Khaled was in the studio of his son. Isn't it so funny that how we never realize the importance of people when they're alive, and once they're dead, we all get to know that how much they meant to us, how our life is now incomplete without them.
He read that letter from his son again.

'Who wants to die without a reason? Tell me. Is there any person who quit his life without a reason? Since my childhood, you hate me. I don't know what is it that makes you hate me so much. Tell me baba! Why you hate me so much? Am I ugly? Or am I not your son? I know when you will read this, you will think that how childish I am but are you aware of this that the kids who don't get to live their childhood, are like me. They are all like this idiotic, psychotic and a loser Shahmir.

Am I so bad that everyone I love starts to hate me eventually?  Except for Ammi, I never found someone who loved me for what I am, for not what they want me to be.

The day when you asked me to join the business and leave painting, that was the day when a part of me died. But I survived somehow because I had Kashaf. I used to believe that she will support me, she will understand that I am not born for all this profit loss thing but..

It was okay if she didn't understand me, it was okay if she wanted me to work for money, maybe I would have survived that too, but...

You know what happened that afternoon when you asked me to leave home? Let me tell you..'

Sikander Khaled replayed that afternoon in his mind.

'You are a loser. I am ashamed of myself that I have a son like you.' He screamed at Shahmir.

Shahmir lifted his head up. It was the first time when he looked into his father's eyes.

'Yes I am a loser, you're telling me this since I was a kid, why don't you accept this fact that I can do nothing with your so-called business, I have nothing to do with your priorities, I don't even care for them. You always treat me like a robot, as if I am an individual with no feelings, with no pain, with no hurt, I am a human being like you! I still have all scars of your words on my heart, on my soul.' He burst into tears at the end but Sikander Khaled had that same stone expression on his face.

'Oh cmon, stop wasting your tears, I am not your mother. Truth is that you're not a man, you can never be a man. I am not even sure about your gender. It was better if you were sent to a home of a prostitute, that is your only place in this world.'

Someone slapped Shahmir really hard. He looked into the eyes of his father in disbelief.

'What? why are you looking at me like this? Oh yes, truth is always bitter.' Sikander Khaled laughed sarcastically.

Shahmir was standing there in disbelief, he knew his father never liked him but he never expected this. His father abused him? His father thought that he wasn't a man?

He stood there with an empty mind for a few minutes. Then, he turned around and ran to his room. He took out his suitcase, picked some of his documents, quickly grabbed some of his clothes, and a picture of his mother. He was leaving this home.

He packed his backpack and went outside. Sikander Khaled was still sitting there. He looked at him for a second and left the house.

He was going to Kashaf. Always, when he wanted to laugh or cry, he used to find Kashaf. This time, He was all broken. He wanted Kashaf so badly.

He knew where she used to be at this time of the day. At Umer's hotel where she was working as an intern.

He went through the entrance and felt like the hotel was empty, it was unusual because at this time hotel was never completely empty.

He went inside, he saw floral arrangements and felt the pleasant smell of roses.

He walked a few steps and saw something really really unpredictable.

Umer was holding Kashaf's hand, they were sitting in the mid of hotel where the table was all decorated with flowers and stuff.

Shahmir felt lost.

Betrayed.

Ditched.

(A/N: Okay so this was a challenging chapter to write, and I am sorry I wasn't able to make this last chapter because I felt I can't wrap up the story in this one chapter. Read this one, and do let me know if I have some room for improvement. Thankyou! :')
