Final Part
Shahmir's letter to Umar
Dear Brother,
How're you? Are you happy? Is Kashaf with you? Is she telling you that how much she loves you? Are you holding her in your arms?
I am sure your answer is a no.
All my life, you were the one with whom I was compared. I saw that glimpse of jealousy in your eyes the day I was getting married to the love of my life.
You snatched her too :')
Do you remember that story Sir Wasif narrated that story of two friends? One of them was betrayed by the other. I am the one who is betrayed by his own brother.
You were never my friend, you were my family.
But now..
You're my nothing.
I repeat, NOTHING.
Once, everyone used to complain about the friends they had. I considered my self lucky because I had a friend like you in my life.
You have broken my trust on this pure relationship called FRIENDSHIP.
I will never ever be able to trust anyone in my life.
But oh.. wait!
Who is gonna live to take another chance?
I am dying. I quit. And congratulation Mr Umar Hassan! You are one of the reasons I am dying.
When you come on my funeral, please don't cry. I don't want strangers to cry on my death. I want everyone to know that you were never ever my friend, you have stabbed me with a knife in my back. I am bleeding, i am crying, i am dying.
This guilt will eat all your happiness, satisfaction and life. One day, you will be screaming my name but, you will never find me.
No body is your friend, no body will ever be your friend.
Have a good life, Umar!
Shahmir.
