Butting heads

~Hey guys! I'm changing it to past tense cuz Its easier to write! and I'm so sorry for taking so long. Also it's a bit short but you guys needed a new chapter~

Riku's POV

I frowned, furrowing my brow. Puffing out my cheeks a bit, I turned and stalked out of the living room and into the kitchen.

Kid turned around from the stove and smiled.

"Are you alright now?" He asked concern in his voice. I nodded vigorously.

"Whatca making!?" I chirped peering over his shoulder.

"Mac and cheese, simple enough." He replied turning back to the food. "Is Xavier here?"

I nodded again, "he's in a bad mood though, I accidentally smacked him when he grabbed my tail and he just walked of grumbling nonsense"

"Maybe you should go talk to him? Just a suggestion." Kid mumbled not turning away from the stove. I said a small ok and ran off into the hallway.

"Xavier!? Where'd you go?" I peered into multiple rooms. "Xavier?" I entered a small guest room and looked around. In a small chair in the rooms corner sat Xavier staring into space. "I'm sorry I hit you earlier, you startled me."

"Mmm..." He turned away.

"Am I forgiven?" I ask

"Sure whatever"

I scowled " I doubt that"

Before I could say anymore kid called from downstairs that dinner was ready. I turned toward the door and trotted out.

Supper was an awkward time, we all sat in silence as we ate. The two boys glared at each other the whole time. At one point Patty tried making a conversation, but it died off pretty quickly.

After we finished the two males took one last glance at each other and went opposite directions.

"Those two must like you a lot" Liz commented watching Kid and Xavier walk away.

"Wha...?" I looked over at Liz with a surprised expression.

"You haven't noticed!? Those two have been butting heads ever since you invited kid over to you're house, he came back with a annoyed expression."

I mumbled a slight oh, and sat down. "So those two like me...." It came out more like a statement than a question. Liz nodded. "Aaaannnd their jealous of each other..." She nodded again.

"Kid and Xavier are crushing on Riku! Kid and Xavier are crushing on Riku!" Patty chanted, and I felt heat rise to my face.

"Ooh look you're blushing!" Liz pointed out. I buried my face in my hands. "Do you like either one back?" She asked.

"I dunno..." I mumbled.

"We'll you're blushing so you have to like ooonnnee!" Patty exclaimed. I shook my head and shrugged.

"Well they like you, so the least you could do is like one back" Liz said tapping my head.

"I dunno who though..." I mumble. "I dunno..."
