Getting Closer

Class is over and it's lunch so we head out to find something to eat "So Riku are you a weapon or a meister" Kid says as he waves to the others "weapon" I say plainly "katana and double scythes" (yes I changed it) "hm" Kid nods "can you turn into two katanas?" "Mmmm not exactly I'm still practicing" I stride out of the DWMA's doors and kid follows closely behind. "Wait Riku I need to do something" Kid comes even closer to me and pokes at one of my ears "Kid what are doing" I flick my ear as he pokes and prods at it "stop moving I'm fixing it" Kid mumbles as he grabs a hold of my ear "Hey ow!" I yell. Kid pulls away "there done." I puff out my cheeks "your mean" I pout "well your ear was asymmetrical" Kid states, great more of his symmetry stuff. I fix my shirt making sure it didn't get damaged then I walked off "hey Riku!" Kid starts to run up to me " where are we eating?" "I like the little café on the corner" I say as I veer to the right and into the café. As I walk in I notice Xavier sitting at a table and I put on a cheerful smile and walk over to the table.

Kid's p.o.v

As Riku walks into the door I can see her face light up as she spots Xavier at a nearby table, I quietly grumble and follow her over."Hello Riku" Xavier says happily "Kid" he nods in my direction, I nod back being polite "Xavier what are you doing here" Riku asks him " same as you eating" I roll my eyes "oh..."

A few minutes later after we get our food "hmm I wonder what I'm going to do for my free periods" I think aloud "I'm gonna go and read" Riku says breaking my thoughts "well I guess thats a pretty good idea" I agree with Riku. Xavier gives me an ice cold glare with those asymmetrical eyes of his, I give him a confused look and can see Riku getting up and pushing her chair in "well I'm off to the library" she walks past me and flicks me on the nose with her tail and slips out the door. I take the last bite of my lunch and run after her, Xavier's eye are still locked onto me with a deadly glare I shrug it off and head out the door.

Riku's P.o.v

I ran back to the DWMA looking back every once and a while to see if Kid was following me. As I enter I turn around to see Kid just reaching the stairs, an evil thought passes through my mind and I bolt toward the library before Kid could even make it to the doors.

I walk into the library and as fast as I can attempt to find a place to hide. As I get settled I hear faint footsteps walking through the isles of books "Riku, where are you" I can hear Kid's quiet voice a few isles away. I scooch farther into the pile of books I'm hiding in but while doing so I send a couple of books tumbling to the floor, the books hit the floor with a thud, I freeze as I hear Kid comming to investigate the fallen books. I'm doomed, Kid spots the fallen books and smirks, the only thing I see right now are his legs and feet 'hopefuly he didn't notice me' I see him move an I don't see his legs anymore so I let myself relax. "Boo!"

"AIEEEEEEE" I jump scatering books all over the floor "mmmmmm" I whimper "don't do that" I turn away from Kid "oh well, I'm sorry" Kid reaches out to touch my shoulder and suprisingly let him. I hop up completely forgeting about what just happened and I look around "ehhhhhh" I run off and leave Kid standing there with a confused look on his face. Half an hour later the library is spotless "there" I flop down onto the floor and Kid gives me a weird look, I simply shrug grab a book and start reading. "what are you reading there Riku?" Kid peers over to my book "oh its just a book that I found and it caught my eye" I explain "what is it called?" "Warriors, Into the Wild" I say as I check the cover of the book (and yes I went there) "what is it about?" Kid questions. I'm kinda getting sick of his questions I just wanna read my book "cats" I start to flick my tail. "Hm" he looks at me looks away and goes to find a book.

Time skip (cuz I'm running out of motivation)

"Kyyyyyaaa!" I yell as I jump on to Xavier's back "oomph" he grunts steadying himself under my weight "your lucky your not heavy Riku or I would have dropped you by now" I giggle and point "homeward bound!" "Hey Riku would I be able to come to your house?" Kid asks "of course, now Xavier MUSH!" Xavier chuckles and starts to jog at a low speed "woooooooooo!"

A few minutes later

"Riku I'm getting tired of carrying you" Xavier starts to put me down "awww" I mope "then I'll just get on Kid's back!" I run toward Kid. "Wait what, Riku!?" But it was too late I already jumped on to his back " fine..." Kid grumbles as he starts walking "your surprisingly light Riku" Kid exclaims "you thought I was going to be heavy?" I question him a slight growl rising in my throat "oh uh no no no no no" Kid nervously stutters " I just kinda thought that you wouldn't be as light as this" Kid mentally slaps himself at his last remark. "Jerk" I quietly say and hop off his back. We walk in silence until we get to my house " hoooooooommmmeee!" I yell and run inside "she's pretty enthusiastic when no one is around, isn't she" Kid looks toward Xavier, he nods. The two stroll into the house "Riku, where did you go off to this time" Xavier calls, I run out of my room and slam into Xavier and Kid "hey can you help me?" I ask as I cock my head to the side "help with what" Xavier grunts "LEGOS!" I yell and run back into my room. "Of course second day and she does this" Xavier leads Kid into my room and sits on the floor beside me, "finally more people to play lego with me I get bored with just me here" I look over toward Xavier and Kid "your welcome to sit down Kid and you can sit on my bed if you don't like the floor" Kid nods and sits down on the bed right beside where I'm leaning. "So what are you making Riku?" Kid peeks over to what I am making "a dragon! It's gonna be a good dragon though, that protects the royal castle" I say triumphantly "mhm" Kid moves his gaze toward a well built castle with little Lego people in it "is that the castle?" Kid says pointing to it "yup and all the people are in it" I say as I get Xavier to help place on the dragon. After a minute or so Kid got playing with some Lego and made everthing he made completely symmetrical, he even took my dragon and changed it to make it "perfect". It was perfect already nothing on it was out of place but for the most part it was fun. After we said our goodbyes to a Kid I headed to bed, second day at shibusen and I have so many friends, maybe it's not that bad there after all.
