I woke up, sickly and in pain. It took me a moment to stretch and wake up, Rory had Bren moving all night like a little restless baby.
"Rory? You awake?" I tapped on where I felt his body. In a way, this wasn't totally bad. I liked feeling worth it, like a had a purpose to keep him safe. Away from danger.
I blushed when he answered back, it was a soft and gentle reply. I hadn't heard him so relaxed in a long, long time.
"I wish I could ask what you wanted to do today.. but I forgot about the issue, here," I said, "We can go to the mountains, if you want."
I suggested going to a place, hours away, in public, to see snow. Where we lived was quite sweltering. That, is why we stayed inside.
"S-sure.." Rory squeaked, dazed, content with his warm, cozy space in my enlarged belly.
It made me feel delicate with him there, I can't say that I didn't like it, because I'd be lying.
  "Alright, off we go, then."
I stripped and changed my underwear, put on sweat pants, a thin long sleeves, and a huge fluffy jacket when we arrived. "Perfect."
The shirt was so comfortable, it was my favorite one for when I was cold, a large. I was an extra small so it fit just right.
"You sure you want to go? Is it okay if Cierra comes along?"

I press my hand up to my stomach gradually, waiting for a response.
"M-nhm, yeah, o-of course.."

Well, he was out of it.
He hated Cierra most times, but for him to agree, and say 'of course' like he liked her was baffling. I took him word on it, though.
The first thing I did was pack a bag. I grabbed gel, lotion, markers, tons of food in case of an emergency. (the whole fridge, really) And headphones.
This was going to be so fun.
It was a huge bag, and a ginormous cooler that I had my neighbor, Runt, help me with. He was a giant, apparently he was smaller than the rest of his family.. but gods, he was huge! I'd love to meet his parents.
As silly as this sounds to you, I didn't want to hurt Rory in any way, so I had a little help from a thoughtful friend.

Maybe I sound like a loser, a creep.. a freak, really. Carrying him in my body made me feel like less of a man, weak, like everyone else use to call me in school. It was humiliating.

I hid my stomach with my jacket while I waddled to our jeep. It was black and gray. The black paint had specks of purple and blue, making it look like a galaxy car, it was awesome. I moved the seat back to make room for my big bun-bump. The bloating went down, but very little.
Rory kicked a bit, settled down after finding a good sleeping position. I sighed. "Only a mile away."
Time for the trip, my friend. On the way to go get Cierra, I suppose.
