Michael's P.O.V -
I put my notebook down and went to the room. Lisa was already in bed I changed and went to lay next to her. She got close to me and laid her head on my chest. I just looked at the ceiling as she listens to my heartbeat.
"Too bad your heart doesn't beat for me," she said
"I'm sorry," I told her
"No, I'm sorry Michael," she said and sat up, "you told me you needed to get over her and I put myself out there"
I didn't tell her anything. She laid back and fell asleep and so did I. I woke up early the next morning or practically slept for an hour then got up because the song hit me. I quickly got dressed and headed out to the studio. I stayed there for the next hours finishing the song.
I checked my clock and saw it was a decent time. I got out my phone and called Adriana
"Hello?" I said once someone answered
"Michael?"
"Oh hey Anthony"
"I'm guessing you're not calling to say your divorce and got together with my sister?"
"Well no," I said and sign.
"Then it's for Adri."
"Yea"
"Give me a second," he said and left me on hold.
"Hello, this is Adriana speaking." She said.
"Funny," I told her chuckling
"Yes, Mr.Jackson? How may I help you?"
"Well you can start by coming to the studio and bring me food"
"I will. I'll be there soon." She said and hung up.
I haven't seen Adriana in two weeks. Yet it feels like I haven't seen her in years. I'm glad she's still in my life after what I did to her best friend. The love of my life.
Adriana got to the studio half an hour later with her full belly. I helped her sis down. I took a seat and opened open the bag of food and taking it out.
"Why did you want me to be here Michael?"
"I wanted you to listen to the new song I made."
"You made another song?"
"Yes"
"Is it for"
I nodded and she smiled.
"Let me guess you saw her interview last night and bam the song hit you, " she said
"Well, of course, hit me," I told her taking a bit off the burger she brought. I let her listen to the song and could tell she loved it.
