Chapter 11 part 1

Michael's P.O.V - 

When I got up the doctor made its way up to us.

"Family of Mr. and Mrs. Gonzalez."
"That's us." Mrs. Gonzalez said.
He sighs and smiles. "Congratulation and being a grandmother to a beautiful baby boy. You may all see him. They're getting her to the room down the hall the fifth one to your right." He said and soon left.

Mr. and Mrs. Gonzalez hugged each other. Mrs. Ashlin was clapping her hands. We all made our way to the room.

While being in our way to the room Teresa saw us and walked over to the room slowly.

We all sat down as we waited. I was in the corner of the room as Teresa was near her mother and grandmother.

A few mins passed before Adriana was rolled in the bed inside.
"There's the new baby mama," Teresa told her.
Adriana smiled and she looked over the corner where I was.

"You came." She said.
"I wouldn't miss seeing the child of my Best friend," I told her and smile.
"You're a great guy."

I chuckled. Anthony soon came in with the baby in his arms.
"Here is Eric the II."
"No." I heard their grandma said tearing up.

Adriana and Anthony nodded.
"Your grandfather would be so proud."
It was a bit confusing but until I understood.

Everyone got a chance to hold the baby. Adriana called me over for a small talk.

"So how does it feel being divorce."  She said softly.
"Feels like being single."
She laughed softly.
"High school all over again." She told me
"Shut up."

She burst out laughing. I laughed with her.
"You know it's true."
"I know." I sighed softly. I looked down at my hands.
"What's going on."
"I told Teresa's mother on how we met."

She laughed.
"What?!"
"She did the same with me."
"Really?"
"Yes, really it's just something she does to get to know you and get to see how you got into their lives."

I nodded. I felt a light tap on my shoulder and I turn around to see Teresa having little Eric in her arms and handing it to me.

"I think you'll like to hold him as well."
I took him from her. I looked down at him and smiled.
"Your lucky they weren't twins." I looked over at Adriana then at Teresa.

They both shook their heads and smiled.

Teresa went over to her parents, grandmother, and Anthony. They stayed talking about their things and I stayed near Adriana with Eric in my arms as we talked.

"You know Lisa came out pregnant. The kids, not yours right?"
"No, it's the guy she's with. Honest."
"Better not be because that will end up being a mess,"
" I know."

I looked over at my watch and saw I had to go. I handed Adriana Eric.
"Thank you for telling me you were in the hospital."
"You're my brother. Your family."

I smiled and got up.
"Goodbye, I'll see you all next time." I waved goodbye to everyone and made my way out of the room.

Teresa's P.O.V -
When Michael left I kept looking at the door hoping he will come back.

My grandma side bumps me to get my attention.
"Teresa!" I heard Adriana call me.
"Yes?"
"Come over here."

I walked over to her and sat down on the side of the bed.
"Yes?"
"Did you listen to Michael's new song?"
"Remember the time?"
"Yes!"
"Oh no. I have been busy with things."
"Listen to it now!"

I looked at her and I glance a look at my parents. They nodded. I looked at my grandma and she just smiled. Anthony well he was looking at his child.

I got out my phone and looked up the song. I played it. The song finished and I looked at Adriana.

"He wrote the song after he saw your interview."
I couldn't help but smile.
"He sure loved you, Teresa."
"I know grandma but he hurt me over and over."
"Those were just teenage things. That whole story was just the being of you two. You both are mature now. Talk through things. Have you finally happy after if not you'll end up with another guy like Randy."

"I know but.."
"No buts missy."

I just laughed and got up and walked out the room. I didn't know where I was going till I bumped into a guy.
