Chapter 12 part 1

Teresa's P.O.V -

It's been 3 days. Michael hasn't called. I have been glued to my phone more than ever. We all went for Adriana and brought her to my parents' house.We all gathered in the living room. My dad started to get the home videos tape together.

I went to the kitchen with my mother to get a few snacks. We both went Back to the living room and sat down. My father sat down as the home videos were starting to play. I felt a buzz in my pocket and I just ignored it.

The tape we were watching was the tape of Anthony and I first steps. Anthony fell and I fell on top on him on our first try.

We laughed as the home movies went off.

A few minutes passed and there was a knocking on the door. I look at everyone else and the looked back at me.

"Go open the door." My Mother said pausing the video.
"Why me?"
"Just go open it," Adriana said.
I got a bit confused and got up.

I went to get a glass of water before opening the door. When I opened the door I saw it was Michael. I immediately spit out the water I had in my mouth.
"Michael!" I said closing my mouth.
He had his eyes closed.
"It's nice seeing you too," He said as he whipped the water spit off of his face.

"I'm so sorry," I said laughing a bit. "Come in all get you a napkin."
I stepped aside letting him in and he got in.
"What did you do to him?" My grandma asked me.
"Nothing," I told her and walked over to get a few napkins for him.

"What did she do to you, Michael?" She then asked him.
"She spits water in my face." He said as I handed him the napkins.
"It was an accident," I told my grandma.

"Well, what accident." She told me
"Grandma!"
"Volume." My dad told me. I nodded. He looked at Michael.
"You came. I'm glad. Now sit and be part of the family." My dad told Michael.

Michael nodded and sat down on the other couch where my grandma was at.
"You know what Michael."
He looked at my grandma.
"You smell really good."

I started to laugh as well as everyone else.
"Thank you." He told her.
I shake my head and sit down next to my grandma.

My dad starts the home videos again.
We watched our 5 birthday. Were we always waited for the time and bite the cake. Everyone in the video started to scream wishing Anthony happy birthday. I start clapping happily and pushed Anthony to the cake. You could hear both of my parents screaming at me. I got off the chair and ran away.

I busted out laughing watching myself when I was little. Everyone laughed as well. We kept watching home videos. I slowly start to drift asleep on my grandma's shoulder.

A few minutes pass as I feel myself laying a bit lower. I didn't want to wake up to see what was happening so I just stayed sleeping.
