Chapter Thriteen

He holds me in his arms, “I’m sorry, I promise you I will always be here for you,” He said and kissed my forehead.

[Later]

“This isn’t fun anymore,” Katsu whined. “You’re the idiot you wanted to train,” I said. “Yeah, but now I think it isn’t fun!!” He said. I chuckled and felt someone watching us; “Come on Katsu, you can do it,” I said. “Yeah, yeah,” He grumbled. He was climbing a rope up the water fall as he strains his hearing for my fan.

“Come on out whoever you are,” I said. Soon I felt someone stand next to me, “Hi,” His lazy tone rung out. “Hello, Kakashi,” I said. I was looking at Katsu and he was glaring at Kakashi, “Hurry up Katsu,” I said losing my grip a little on purpose and he immediately started to climb up the rope.

[Night]

I was standing on the inn’s rooftop to see Gaara sitting under the same stars as I am. I was about to approach him when Dosu appeared and tried to kill him. A few houses down I notice two silhouettes watching Gaara kill Dosu. I quickly stood behind them, “I hope that won’t stop the plan?” A rough voice said. “No not a problem, he was no use anyways,” I heard a teenage voice say. “We are being watched,” The teen voice say.

They appeared behind the examiner of the preliminary exams and quickly killed him. I sighed and shook my head, ‘This isn’t going well,’ I thought. I appeared in my room, “Have you notice the air outside?” I heard Katsu ask. “I notice…the bloodlust of a demon wanting more blood and more prey to kill,” I said. “When you say it like that, it sounds creepy and plain horrifying,” Katsu said wrapping his arms around my waist.

I leaned into his chest while he nuzzled my neck, “I love you Ren,” He whispered. “I love you too, Katsu,” I whispered back. I heard him sigh in content and massage my lower back. “Let’s go to sleep,” He suggested. I only nodded and went over to my bed; before I could lay down I was pushed down and a hovering Katsu was smirking at me.

I glared at him, “Katsu,” I warned. He just continued smirking at me and lowered his head, “What?” He asks in a husky voice. “What in the hell are you doing?” I asked trying to see his face. “Kissing you,” He mumbled and crashes his lips onto mine. I kissed him back and wrap my arms around his neck.

[Next day]

I groan as I tried to lift myself up. I felt a cold breeze against my body; which caused me to look down quickly, I had change clothes over night that I had forgotten, and I was wearing short shorts and a tank top. I look around to see the window open, “No wonder it’s cold,” I mumbled to myself. I felt a pain in my chest; ‘Something is going to happen,’ I thought.

[Later]

Katsu and I walked towards a training field to train for our final day. Tomorrow are the third exams, ‘Why do I feel something is going to happen?’ I thought. Katsu was saying something about kicking ass but stopped when we saw an unknown Ninja appearing in front of us. “Yuri, stay behind me,” Katsu growled at the Ninja. The ninja smirked and ran towards Katsu as they fought hand to hand; I was being kept put.

I looked down to see a ninjutsu playing on me; the chains tighten every move I make. ‘This is Katsu’s ninjutsu,’ I thought. “I did that because I don’t want to you to interfere!” I heard Katsu shout. “YOU’RE AN IDIOT!” I yelled at him. “But I’m your idiot,” He said as he fought the ninja. I could tell Katsu was dodging the kunai but something was cutting his veins to cause an internal bleeding.
