Regrets

Chapter 1

Let's get into the details on why this is happening to me. First let me introduce myself. Hi my name is Liberty but everyone calls me Libby. I'm twenty seven years old, I'm a kindergarten teacher, I'm married, and I have two children, a set of twins Lincoln and Kennedy. The twins are three years old and I've been married to my husband for four years, we dated for five years so all together we've been together for nine years.

My husband is Liam Payne and we met when we were eighteen. It was my senior year of high school and I went on a trip with some of my friends to London a few days after graduation. I was simply walking around the city and I went into a shop with my friends. When I came out of the shop me being my clumsy self tripped however someone caught me. I was confused on who and why someone was actually able to catch me.

I thought it was one of my friends at first but I was so wrong when I turned around and saw who it was. When I saw the person I didn't start freaking out or anything, I just stood there and started apologizing for tripping and landing in the person's strong arms. The face I knew but I wasn't going to freak out since I thought it was rude to flip the fuck out. When I saw the face it was Liam Payne from one direction and I honestly thought I was dreaming. My sisters always loved one direction and I liked their music but I wouldn't call myself a fan.

Well maybe I was a fan but I didn't freak out or say "hey you're Liam from one direction I love you so much. Please have babies with me" if I said that I would never forgive myself. I just stood there apologizing like an idiot "I'm so sorry. I'm so clumsy, I wasn't watching where I was going. I'm so so so sorry" he just stood there and chuckled "it's alright love. It's not everyday I get to catch a beautiful girl like you"

I stood there and blushed slightly starting to think this was a dream but I guess it wasn't "hehe um thanks. But I really am sorry, I'm so clumsy" he looked at me "I'm Liam" "I'm Liberty but everyone calls me Libby" he smiled softly "Well Libby you should call me sometime or maybe I'll call you" I blushed "Well Liam if you really wanted my number then you should've asked" he chuckled "playing hard to get I see" I myself let out a small giggle and gave him my number and he did the same.

Shortly after my friends lightly tapped my shoulder as they were ready to leave. I quickly said goodbye and went off with my friends. The rest of the trip was quite odd as Liam was texting me non stop but I didn't mind. With every text I couldn't help but to smile. My friends noticed my constant smiling and they couldn't help but to tease me.

They didn't understand how I was feeling at the moment. I felt happy and not because I was talking to Liam Payne but because a guy actually liked me and wanted to talk to me. You see I never had a boyfriend before or dated anyone during high school. I always kept to myself and no one really liked me and I was okay with that. Besides I didn't want a boyfriend in high school, it would've been too much stress especially when not everyone goes off to the same college. I was so shocked that a guy actually liked me and wanted to talk to me.

As the trip died down I honestly didn't want to leave. I had an amazing time and saw so many amazing sights and well texting Liam made my whole week in London amazing. As my friends and I were leaving there was a knock at my hotel room door. I thought it was one of my friends checking to see if I was ready to leave so I quickly answered the door without looking "I'm almost ready, I just have to pack a few last minute things" "Well maybe I should leave but I won't be able to return later and say goodbye" I looked up when I recognized the voice "oh hey Liam. Sorry I thought you were one of my friends"

"It's alright love, I understand. If you're not busy I came to say goodbye and wish you a safe flight home" he said with a smile "I'm not busy and thank you" I smiled as well. We quickly said our goodbyes and he gave me a hug. Shortly after he left my friends and I left as well.

As the weeks went by after I returned home to Georgia, I couldn't stop thinking about Liam. Our conversations started to get shorter and I was okay with that since I knew he had a busy schedule. After a few days of not talking Liam called me and it was one conversation I would never forget. I remember it so clearly.

"Hello?" I answered "Hey Libby it's me Liam" "Oh hey Liam. What's up?" "I've been thinking lately and I know we don't know each other that well, but I can't help to ask you this simple question. Just talking to you has been amazing and I know we haven't been on a date or anything and we probably won't get the chance. However I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend?"

I couldn't believe this was happening and I had no idea what to say at first as I thought it was a dream. "I would love to be your girlfriend Liam" I smiled although I knew he couldn't see me smile. "I was so afraid that you were going to say no" "I would never say no"

The rest of the night we did nothing but talk and joke around. I was so happy and I never felt anything like that before. June 28th 2012 is one date I'll never forget. However to this day in my current life I want to do nothing but burn the memory and the date out of my mind. I never want to think about June 28th in a joyful way ever again.

Hello humans! I'm back! It's been a while since I've written anything and I'm so glad to be back. I know that it's been a while since I've updated Raven and I'm not sure yet if I'll continue with Raven. I didn't completely step away from writing but it's been a while since I've written a huge piece of fan fiction and the break was quite nice. I promise to write as much as possible when I get the chance. This is something I have been thinking about for a while and I'm so glad I'm finally doing it. I hope you enjoyed and that you will enjoy more to come. One more thing, happy album release day! I don't know about y'all but I'm really enjoying Harry's album. My favorite song is woman.
