I ran through overcrowded corridor leading to the great hall, trying to keep up.

"Sirius," I called. "Slow down!"

But no, my best friend didn't slow down. In fact, he only sped up.

Sirius broke through the oak front doors of the castle, and I wasn't far behind.

"C'mon, Padfoot! Give it back!" I yelled.

"NEVER! HAHA," he rejoiced.

"Fine," I muttered, stopping and pulling out my wand.

"Levicorpus!"

Sirius was thrown into the air by his ankle, so that he was dangling upside-down, and staring at the grassy hill we were standing on.

"Now... accoi quill!"

With a wave of my wand, my newest white feather quill soared from Sirius' robe pocket, and into my free hand.

"Gocha!"

Sirius rolled his eyes as I waved my wand, causing him to spin in circles in the air.

"James, you have your quill. Can you put me down now?"

"You wish! You must be punished for stealing!" I taunted.

"Really? Torturing your own friends, are you, now?"

I heard a voice from behind me. An ever so familiar female voice.

I spun around.

Crap.

It's Lilly.
