Misty's P.O.V

"The barrier is up, it took a bit of magic and work but it's finally up and working!"

I smiled at Lui, he told me how the barrier will make us nearly invisible to magical creatures and beings.

"I'm going to go and get one of my boyfriends now, he's a demon and he should be able to help teach you about you demon powers. Are you going to be okay here?"

I nodded and huffed out a breath, Lui nodded, then he stretched out his wings and flew off.

......

I walked around the line of the barrier, poking it at times and watching as a small blue ripple would jiggle around like jello and make a small blubbery noise before going back to being invisible.

I sat down and crossed my legs,

"wings!"

"Angel wings!"

"Something!"

I screamed, nothing happened.... Of course. I'll never be able to use powers, maybe I wasn't even born with powers.

My thoughts were interrupted by Lui entering the barrier with a dark skinned man with demon wings,

as soon as I saw him though something felt, off, I didn't like this person Lui had brought.

"Misty, this is Basically!"

Basically held out his hand with a wide grin on his face, I cautiously took hold of his hand and shook it slightly,

"We should start training her."

Basically nodded and gave a low chuckle,

"something is off...." I heard a low whisper, Basically and Lui didn't seem to hear it though,

"why can't we just teach her!"

A whiny demonic voice replied, my eyes widened and I looked to the ground,

"Leggero.... Ombra."

I chuckled, and started to watch a demonstration Lui was teaching me.

An hour had passed before I got to take a break, no progress with my powers had been made,

I sat silently listening for the wolves who had said nothing since the small whine,

Lui and Basically had walked away to talk about a few things.

I listened to the wind as a small melody entered my head,

"Oh carful young child, for what you don't see,

is the demon who we now call Basically~

We must remember how demons can play,

they are tricksters with their own sick little games....~"

"Leggero, I'll watch my back...."

Lui and Basically started to walk back to where I was sitting,

I felt a small sting in my eye for a second before it faded away.

"Demon eyes can tell a lie, but we can see the truth." Came leggero's voice,

"Why the Hell are you talking in rhymes?"

"Shut you mouth stupid shadow beast....!"

I heard the wolves argue, I got up and brushed myself off getting ready for another round of trying to unlock my powers....

Hey! I am so so so so so sorry for not posting for a couple of months! A lot has been going on! School is almost out, I got a cockatoo, I've been kinda down, but I posted this chapter cause I finally had some me time! I am really really sorry and I will try to post more often! Thanks for reading!
