These Wings Are Confused {Sequel to The Angel And The Demon H2ovanoss}

Instinct

"First things first, you gotta get wings." Basically pointed at me as a stood staring questionably at him,

I had been weary but in my own way. Somethings seemed off about the dark skinned demon, whenever I was near Basically my blood ran cold, maybe it was because demons are supposed to do that, they do control nightmares after all. But it was weird, if I was half demon than I shouldn't be getting fear around another, or maybe it was my angel side showing.

"Hey!" I shot my head to look up at the demon, he had his eyebrows ruffled and Lui giggled behind him,

"Basically, Misty is a kid! Be patient, they get distracted easily." Lui went to put a hand on Basically's shoulder but he flinched away as though it the angels hand had burned his skin.

Squinting my eyes I looked to the grass and thought about beautiful whit feathered wings emerged from my back, I imagined them flapping in the wind as they lifted me from the ground. I wanted to picture more but for the moment being I thought of one thing, wings.

I wanted to summon my angels wings, not demons. I wanted to start off slow and steady, having nice soft wings would be a nicer thing than having rough dragon like sharp wings rip out my spine.

I opened my eyes and once again nothing had happened, I groaned loudly and threw my body backwards onto the soft grassy dirt,

"I'm never going to get wings, or magic, or anything!" I shouted in a pool of rage,

"Maybe that's for the best." Basically mumbled under his breath, I growled.

Standing up with the help of Lui, we were back off to try and summon my wings.

"It's been almost a whole day, can we please sleep? I'm tired!" I pouted to my trainers, Lui sighed and nodded before walking to a tree and laying against it with Basically.

I watched as they snuggled together, Lui rubbing his cheek against the demons shoulder. I squinted before walking to a tree in the other side of where the two laid,

I put my head against the rough bark of the tree before drifting off into sleep slowly....

Right before I was about to fully doze off I heard leaves moving and grass making strange sounds.

"Basically... Don't do this,-"

"Lui, we aren't supposed to be with her, she isn't supposed to know about what she is."

"This isn't right!"

I opened my eyes and saw Lui's arms bound with an electric looking red, rope?

Basically held a phone in his hand, the case looked like bone, ribs maybe?

"Don't do this! She needs us!"

"Wildcat, yeah it's me-... Yeah I got her."

I shot up an anger coursed through my body, I felt my blood begin to boil,

"It's one thing to betray the girl who isn't supposed to know you,-" My back began to hurt and cracking sounds filled my ears but I pushed through it to put Basically in his place,

"But betraying your boyfriend, that's a low blow dude!" I ran at Basically and he stared at me in shock as I pushed him to the ground.

I looked over to Lui and took some magic dust out of his bag, I sprinkled some lightly onto the electric rope and it snapped into dust, Lui also stared at me in aw.

"Misty, you have wings," I turned and sure enough there they were, bright white feathered wings. I eyed them and looked at the tips on the bottom, they had black on the tips, weird but okay.

"We're gonna have to fly,"

"Lui!"

The angel looked behind me with horror stained on his faces, I turned and saw Wildcat along with some others fly through the barrier,

"God dammit." I mumbled, Lui grabbed my hand and I was lifted off of the ground in a fast manner.

After Lui had left the barrier it fell, all of his magic was given back to him, I looked down and saw Basically reaching for my foot.

"Misty, instinct better kick in!"

"What?-"

Before I could ask Lui pulled me back and threw me forward, I screamed as I franticly flapped at my newfound body part,

"Relax and glide!"

I looked at Lui who was being grabbed by the two demons, I growled and shocked myself as it sounded like it belonged to a wild animal. My finger tips were filled with pain, I looked towards them and watched as sharp claws grew from my nails, I looked back at the demons who were dragging my friend away.

"I'm not losing him to!" I growled and shot myself at them, I wielded back and scratched Basically in the cheek, he released and I turned to Wildcat.

"Stop this Misty!"

I roared and darted my tongue out, it was thick and sharp I wrapped it around Wildcats necl before punching him in the jaw.

"Misty stop." Lui grabbed my hand and flew fast into the sky, it was so fast I felt like I had been struck in the chest by a pipe.

When Lui stopped we were among the clouds,

"I'll keep you safe baby girl. You really let your instincts kick in back there."

"I guess I did, I'm really tired now though."

"You used a lot of energy." I grabbed onto Lui and he held me tightly and whispered sweet nothings into my ear as he flew off to find somewhere safer for us to stay....

Hi, so, um... I'm really sorry for me not updating anything or showing signs of life or anything! A lot is going on right now, I got school, I went through a really bad breakup, and just a lot is going on. I'm actually working on a rant book for reasons of why and what is going on. I've entered some new fandoms like Overwatch and other things, I've also been working on my own original story, which has elven? Yeah eleven chapters done. So that's going on. Super sorry, I don't know if anyone even looks at this anymore but if they do, than I'll say it again, I'm sorry! Hopefully I can get a chance to update soon!
