These Wings Are Confused {Sequel to The Angel And The Demon H2ovanoss}

I was in my room with Wildcat, who had stayed the night because he is lazy beyond belief.

"I don't wanna go to school!" I moan flopping on my bed,

"so don't." I look at Wildcat with a questioning look and tilt my head for him to continue. "Say I'm driving you are something, and then well go somewhere."

I smile and run down stairs, then I grab my toast and quickly tell one of the adults that 'Tyler' was taking me to school, then I run out of the orphanage.

I banged into someone, I looked up and saw my demon with his wings ready to fly,

I jump onto his back and he squats before flying quickly into the air. "Whoa!" I screamed into the cool morning sky, I hear Wildcat chuckle.

When we landed I closed my eyes since I was still scared of flying. When I did open my eyes I automatically knew where we were.

"Wildcat I can't be here. I'm not supposed to be here!" I look at him with wide eyes, "Why not?" He cocked his head to the side.

"A few days ago I saw something in the window, me and Zed ran after it and we winded up here. We came here before but the shadow thing had this long claw and he had another shadow figure with him... They told us never to come back here. Last time I was here the forest changed, there's a part where it becomes dark and almost dead...."

Wildcat had anger in his sad looking eyes, he walked with his hands in his pocket leaving me to do nothing but follow him,

as I came closer I could hear his mumbles,

"They tell me I can't see her and what do those assholes do, it must've been Ter- and- that where they went! That's where they were! Tell me I can't see her and then just come in broad daylight!?" I couldn't make out everything considering how quiet he was being.

"Wildcat..." I stopped and shivered at my own words as fog came from my lips, I looked around and saw we were on the borderline of the forest, I was standing on the living red side whilst Wildcat was on the dead side.

My friend looked at me with wide dead glistened eyes, "I need to know how you knew my name, you know who those shadow people were... Please, Wildcat, please."

"Misty you wouldn't understand..." The demons voice was darker then usual,

Wildcat went to walk away before I ran and grabbed him by his waist, "Wildcat please!"

"Misty!" Wildcat tried pushing me away before we wrestled each other to the ground.

A piece of paper suddenly landed onto the ground, "Shit!" Wildcat went to grab it before I stumbled over and grabbed it, we both stood on our feet,

Wildcat put his hands up in defense, his eyes were wide with fear. The anger had faded into nothing.

I looked down at the picture, it was a picture of a baby, it looked as though it was just born minutes before the picture was taken, they had a small teddy bear in there arms and the surface they were laying on almost looked as though it could be a cloud.

I became confused as to way Wildcat didn't want me to see this, that is until I turned the picture around...

"What is this?! Where did you get it?!"

"It's nothing! Give it back to me, now!"

"No! You know something that I don't! Please just tell me!"

Tears fell from my face as I stared at the creature I once trusted. Once. But now I knew that he knows more then I thought, more about me, and more about where I came from.

I let the photo drop from my hands before shaking my head and running off further into the dead side of the forest, I could see that the picture had fallen face down before the picture and Wildcat were out of sight...

Wildcat's P.O.V

I bend over and look at the photo, then I turn it over and sigh as I reread the name over and over again. I should have known to leave the photo home before visiting. I let a tear fall before I shove the photo into my pocket and run off the way she ran....
