"what just happened?" amelia whispered to lily.

"melia, i have no idea," lily whispered back. they had long since switched seats with the boys, making it easier for the two girls to talk to each other. "the notifs were rolling in so fast. i literally have no clue."

"well, for starters, millie freakin' bobby brown followed us!" amelia exclaimed. "along with the rest of the cast, maddie, and grace!"

'aaaaand," lily added, "romeo and levi! and we were invited to join 'the squad', whatever that is."

"it's the most elite group you've ever seen," finn said, leaning over to the girls. he was now hovering over amelia, and even though finn didn't seem to notice, amelia was blushing a bright red and lily was trying to contain her inner fangirl. "it's a big deal that you were invited to join."

"in other news," noah interrupted, "gaten is following your other friend, connor."

"speaking of which..." finn started. he suddenly looked really awkward. "is he... ya know... gay?"

amelia and lily laughed quietly. "yes, finn, he is. and there's no need to be so weird about it," lily answered.

finn grinned. "so that's why gaten's following him."

"what?" amelia asked.

"oh," noah said. "well, connor's pretty attractive..."

"...and gaten's pretty gay," finn finished. amelia's jaw fell open, while lily clapped.

"so that's what he meant when he said that he wanted a mystery person!" amelia exclaimed.

"i guess so," finn shrugged.

"i kinda ship it," noah confirmed.

"hashtag caten!" lily said happily. the others all laughed.

this moment was followed by an excessive amount of awkward silence. amelia had switched seats again with noah, leaving the order going from left to right like this: finn, amelia, noah, and lily. there had been a lot of switching during this flight, but noah insisted that it was good to stay active. even on a plane.

eventually, lily had enough of the silence. "hey, noah?" she asked.

"yeah, lil?"

"where's your license?"

"my what?"

"your licence," lily said plainly. "oh wait. did it get suspended for driving all the girls crazy?"

amelia cringed. finn rolled his eyes at the corny joke.

noah burst out laughing. lily did the same.

the two teens were near the point of drowning in laughter when all of a sudden, noah stopped laughing completely. "but i don't even have a licence?" he said, confused.

this one statement brought amelia and finn to laugh almost as hard as lily and noah had.

"why are we laughing so hard at something so stupid?" amelia questioned between laughs.

finn shrugged, not exactly caring. he just enjoyed the presence of them all. some maybe more than others.

"i need a high five for that," noah said. he held up his hand, which lily quickly gave him a high five with. then feeling a bit adventurous, she closed her hand around noah's. this left the two teens holding hands, and while lily was smiling triumphantly, noah was blushing uncontrollably.
