Unique Revelations (Planeptune: Day 278)

     My newest creation, the Medigun, almost complete. Was it flawed? Of course, but I will make it better someday. I just want to at least make the basic model without it exploding.

     Our goddess doesn't enjoy my little experiments like I do. For this next test, I have to get even more energy than usual. The good thing is that once this cell is charged, it won't need to be recharged...hopefully...maybe. There was one problem though, Little Miss Bitch Heart won't let me anywhere near the power core of the Basilicom. I need that power though. Call me a madman, I don't care. Using the thermal control shaft, I escalated my way up the tower until I reached my stop. I was above the core, looking down on it. I smirked merely thinking about the idea of taking almost all of it. 

     I went on top of the containment unit and planted my energy receptor inside of the sphere. Just doing that alone could've injured me. Thankfully it didn't though. I plugged the empty cell into the output of the receptor and waited as it charged up. Security would be here any minute, I had to hurry. I heard alarms going off. 

-"Grrr...Hurensohn."

     Fortunately for me, the charge didn't take long. I disconnected the cable, put the cell in my pocket, went through the shaft, exited the vent and......was faced by the Goddess.

-"Pin him." She ordered in her high and mighty voice.

     I was immediately grabbed and thrown against the wall by two other soldiers.

-"This is the fourth time this week Leo." she said.

-"I NEED this energy my lady! We can accomplish great things when I finish my work!" I said.

-"And you'd risk the entire nation just to do it? Do you even know how close you came to detonating the core when you attached the receptor?!" 

-"How close?"

-"Let's just say, destabilized any more...and you wouldn't have the molecules to remember it."

-"Damn."

-"What do you have to say for yourself?"

     I paused before speaking again.

-"That was fun!" I said with excitement.

     She slapped me. Then held out her hand, wanting the cell.

-"Hand it over, now." she said.

     I gladly obliged. Handing her a decoy. She gave it to one of the soldiers who ran off, presumably to put it back in its place. Guess who had the real one though?

-"Will I have to remind you why you're still here?" she asked.

-"No. I understand all too well." I said.

-"Good. Now get back to work...and don't let this happen again."

     She walked off in the way that she always does; it makes me sick. I pulled out the real cell from my pocket and smirked. I had it...finally. Without wasting any time, I swiftly returned to my lab and quickly took out my project. I opened the power cell slot and inserted the last component. I shut the slot and activated my greatest creation, knowing that it had a 62.9% chance of causing a nuclear blast.

-"Oktoberfest!" I yelled with pride as its mechanisms whirred to life. 

     The moment of truth was upon us. I have already replaced my own heart, everything is go for launch! I unhesitatingly pounded the activation button. The glow shined brighter than ever! It worked! I felt the pure charge of the handheld device cycling through my very skin! Once the charge was in full effect, I looked at my skin and experienced the ultimate sensation. I felt as if even bullets couldn't hurt me know.

-"Hahahaha! I! Am! INVINCIBLE!" I yelled with passion, not caring who would hear me.

I know I'm gonna get caught and probably get fired this time but it was worth it! All of my medical expertise went into building this tool of the gods! I just hope that I can make it even better! I won't stop at perfection anymore, I will make something even greater than humanly possible!
