I woke up.to my dad slapping my face," WAKE UP, WAKE UP, WAKE UP FERNANDO!" My dad yelled.
"What?" I mumbled
" You're alive!"
"When am I not?"
Outside there was still sounds of explosions and smashing sounds. Tom looked scared and sad,"What is wrong Tom?" I said.
"My parents are still out there, they could be dead or..."
Then a big boom interrupted him. My dad grabbed the flashlight and opened the bunker door. On the otherside was something crazy. We were inches away from a planet. My dad got out and jumped onto this new planet. It had vegetation, which mentioned water, and it was bigger than our own planet.
I got out next, I jumped like I was proving I could jump the furthest. Tom was right after me, than Sally, and my mom.
"This planet has everything we need on it," Tom said.
I looked around and saw something that most wouldn't notice. I saw a sun blazing very far away. The next moment it burst like a balloon, I was assuming that it destroyed all the planets with it.
"Well I guess Earth has the luck of the devil," my dad said with a smirk, he saw it too.
"What are e going to do now?" My mom questioned.
"Based on my..." Tom said but got interrupted.
"Okay let me talk Smarty pants, we are going to need shelter, food, and water. I am leaving finding water to smart ass over here..." my dad shivered," it's cold out here. Really cold."
"Well me, the smart ass, just wants to say, the closest sun to us is that one over there," Everyone looked to see where Tom was pointing," that sun, size of two to three Saturn's put together. That is not big and so that makes it harder for us to get warmth."
Minutes later people started swarming onto the planet when all of a sudden Earth started spinning really fast and moved the other way. It was getting further and further away.
"My dog!"" My baby!""My bag of Doritos!" You could hear everyone screaming and crying.
Then a big loud roar got everyone's attention. Standing over everyon was a creature that is hard to describe. It had two big horns, teeth like a lion, tail like a dog, size of a whale, and worst of all eight eyes and legs. It was so weird that I almost barfed.
The mutant thing picked someone up before I could and ate them. Everyone scattered and the few who had guns shot at it. My family, including Tom as family, all ran towards the nearest open land. We all sat down listening to the gun shots and screaming. Right when I was about to get up it all stopped. There was no gunshots or screaming, it was like someone muted the world for me.
Then came the next roar right before a whimper. The sun was setting, we didn't even have a shelter.
"That creature wad obviously scared of the dark. There must be something bigger than it because what creature like that is scared of something smaller than it," my dad stated.
"You," I giggled.
"Just because your mother bosses me around doesn't mean I'm scared of her."
"What did you say Robert Johnson Derrick, be scared of me
!"
"Yes Ma'am," my dad said. We all laughed at him.
