A week has passed after Baek and Chan Yeol met. There were no news about each other. Baek was hesistant to send a text message. He has been hesitant on what message he will send. Nights have passed and Baek has decided to text and meet up with Chanyeol.
They decided to meet at a restaurant near Chan Yeol's office. While waiting for Chan Yeol, Baek sat on a table at the corner of the resto far from the eyes of other customers so they will have the privacy they needed.
The chime sounded and as Baek looked at the entrance door he saw him but a woman is standing so close to him looking so pretty and sophisticated. Baek hesitated for a moment but then Chan Yeol already noticed him. Chan Yeol approached the table and noticed the change in Baek's expression. He seemed sad and disappointed.
"Hi, this is my fiancee Sandara. And he is my college friend Baek." The two shook hands. The lady smiled at Baek and she looked friendly. They sat and ordered their food. As the couple started to eat Baek doesn't know how to start the conversation. He is uncomfortable with the situation plus his heart feels uneasy.
"So Baek how are you, what was the important matter you want to talk about?"
"Ahhhmmm it's nothing I just want to catch up with you ahhhmm as friends, you know" Baek had thought that this is not the right time to confess since Chan Yeol is with his fiancee. He doesn't want to be the reason the couple will have conflicts.
They talked about college days and Baek was also invited to their wedding. Though his heart is aching as he still have feelings for Chan Yeol he cannot do anything but to accept the fact that him and Chan Yeol have no chance at all. Probably next time he will have the courage to spill out the truth about Taehye.
After their meeting Baek went straight home.
Chanyeol's POV
Baek and I set a day to meet up again. This time I brought my long time friend Sandara and posted her as my fiancee. I don't know why I did that its just I want to see some reactions from Baek Hyun. But nah Byun still look at me the same, no reaction and continue to talk about college days and our common friends.
After that meeting, Sandara and I went to a nearby pub. I had a few shots and told my story to Sandara. She listened and advised me to talk it out with Baek Hyun. But I am very scared to be rejected. I am afraid to get hurtand most of all I am afraid that I will lose the single thing that keep me close to Baek...our friendship.
