Blinding light flashes
Water pours down
Cleansing the earth
Wind whips past
Shrieking like chalk
Resisting a teacher’s hand
Water trickles from my hair
Tasteless across my lips
Smooth wetness chills my skin
Walking across the field
Wet grass between my toes
Tickling and itching me
I lay in a bed of flowers
Breathing the sweet, damp air
Welcoming the storm
Time slows as I watch
Streams of water sparkle down
Clouds make way for the rainbow
