Andie's POV

After packing up my things, I am all prepared to spend New Year abroad. Yup. I am going overseas. Well, dito sana kami mag ce-celebrate ni Mama sa Korea pero dahil sa di inaasahang pagka-kataon, biglang na-reschedule ang 'Date with Andie Lee' , kaya ye-hey! Now I can spend New Year in a place where it isn't freezing! I miss the sunshine. Hay...

I called Ate Amy and I asked her to come with me. Did she say yes? Of course she did. She was even more excited than me nauna na siya sa airport. Well, that's okay. Kahit mauna pa siya, hindi naman ako mahihirapang hanapin siya, dahil alam niyo na. Hihi.

I pulled my cute luggage, I opened the door, I was about to step outside when I almost tripped on a square object lying on the doormat, it was wrapped in bright pink wrapping paper. Obviously, it is a gift. For me? Yes it is.

I sat on the ground, picked up the gift, then slowly unwrapped it. When I saw what was inside the wrapper.. gush of emotions hit me, swarmed all over me. Inside was a star-shaped box. I slowly lifted the cover, and when I did, my heart beats a little faster. It was an 'apple', a heart shaped apple. There is a heart-shaped apple inside a star-shaped box.

Forgetting what I originally planned to do, I searched around the house, I ran all over the neighborhood, looking for the person who left me that gift. But I saw none. Who? Who left that?

Amy's POV

"Yung totoo, may problema ka ano?" Tanong ko kay Andie.

Ngumit siya. "Wala At---"

"Hep-hep-hep-hep. Wag ka nang magsalita, dahil obvious na obvious naman sa mukha mo eh. Ayan oh.. Naku..!"

"Wala naman kasi talaga."

"Eh bakit nang dumating ka dito, parang hangin mo lang ako dinaanan. Hello, wag mong sabihing hindi mo napansin ang matching red outfit ko? Naku--"

"Ate?" Pag-gambala niya.

"Oh, bakit?"

Huminga siya ng malalalim. "Can we not talk about it, please?"

Hindi ako nakasagot. Dahil nang tinignan ko ang malungkot niyang mga mata, na-realize ko, pag tinuloy ko ang pagtatanong, siguradong.. hindi niya ako isasama! Char!
