A New God is Born

        Walter Zinc is an orphan boy that was accepted into a boarding school because of how smart he was. He was three grades ahead of what he should be learning. He is always shocking everyone at school with his fingers. On their archery field trip he always got a bullseye. He was good at almost everything. Everything but socializing. He grew up on the streets and had no interest in making friends or talking. Except he did have one friend, His name was Chiron he had unusually hairy legs for an 11 year old.

        It was math class and Chiron and walter were both seated in their desk ready to learn. Their teacher walked in looking unusually blue. No One else seemed to notice, Only Chiron and Walter. She had sharper teeth and she might of even had a tail. Then in the blink of an eye the teacher starts glowing and then morphing into an unusual creature. "RUN!" Yelled Chiron. So they both ran out the door and out of the school. They raced to the beach were an old shack was waiting for them.

            They jumped inside, what they saw was ridiculous. The outside of the shack looked old and run down. As inside the shack was a large beautiful palace. "Whats going on?" Asked Walter. "Walter, Your dad is... Your dad is... Your dad's Zeus the god of the sky. Your mother is artemis Goddess of hunting and wild animals." Chiron said quietly. "You have special powers but you attract many monsters from the underworld."

"Wow, so i'm like a superhero!" Screamed Walter in a very excited way.

"Not exactly, Walter, You are a god..."

"So do I like never die?" Asked walter.

        "Well you can't die from mortals or monsters, only other gods." Explained Chiron. That was good enough for walter. Walter plays a card game that involves gods, and so he made a stupid comment, "Does Zeus really have five thousand hit points?" "This is real life God Boy, Not a silly card game." Said Chiron. Chiron told Walter they would be leaving after the storm passed, to go and stop a war between the big three. This made Walter really nervous until Chiron told Walter about the special gift from Zeus and Artemis. It was a Miniature version of the famous Zeus lightning bolt that could be used as a sword or a bow! 

       And so the next day they hailed a cab and were on there way to LA. Walter was told by Chiron that that was were the opening to olympus was. If you don't know olympus is a place where most of the gods stay and rule, It's filled with palaces and beautiful greek monuments. Walter has rode in many cabs but today this one was going faster than any other cab he had rode in. The car kept accelerating more and more as they went. Walter put his head at the front but he saw no driver. Instead he saw a giant rock on the pedal and the door flung open.

         They had to act fast in a matter of seconds they would crash. Chiron rolled down the window and pushed walter out. Then he himself bailed from the car. About five seconds after they had jumped out the car had crashed into a nearby police station. Sirens were going crazy. They had to run, NOW! Instead of running, Chiron morphed into a centaur. "Jump on!" Chiron yelled. Just as Walter got onto Chiron's back they rocketed out of town. The ride to LA was silent. Walter was flabbergasted. But in the matter of minutes Walter saw a sign that said WELCOME TO NY.

       They were heading straight for the NY star attraction. The empire state building. Walter wondered what they were doing but he didn't want to get Chiron mad. Chiron morphed back into his human form and they started walking into the Empire State Building. The first place they went was to the only open elevator. He pushed the people that were in there out. Then suddenly a glowing red button appeared out of nowhere. It read six hundred floor. That's weird Thought walter The Empire state building doesn't have a six hundred floor.

         When they arrived on top the elevator had changed it was now made of quartz. The door slid open and they walked across a walkway miles and miles high in the sky. They could see at the end of the walkway it was not very nice looking. There was fire and lighting and water everywhere. And inside were Zeus, Hades and Poseidon battling to the death. Artemis was pleading for them to stop. They were like giants. Except they were a hundred times more powerful.

           Walter got a burst of braveness and he ran in and yelled as loud as he could, "STOP!" This got didn't get the great threes attention only Artemis. He asked her what was going on. She told him that they are fighting because hades helmet has gone missing and he thinks it is them. "They are brothers i highly doubt they did it!" Said Artemis. She told them they have to help stop this misunderstanding. Just then Walter was tapped on the shoulder he looked back no one was there. Then he remembered how hades helmet made him turn invisible. He knew this because he was obsessed with this type of stuff. But someone was using hades helmet right now.

         Then Zeus gained a giant gash on his face. Whoever was wearing the helmet had now took it of. "ARES!" YELLED ZEUS. The look on his face was the look you give someone when you're about to kill them. Then walter prayed, "I wish i was as big and strong as them so i could help fight!" Then he started to grow, he grew bigger than the other gods. He whipped out his lightning bolt and hit ares helmet of his head. Hades picked up the helmet and placed it on his head. They all thanked walter and offered him a spot on olympus, With Hades, Poseidon, And Zeus.

          Walter excepted and they moved a new chair into the palace it read Zinc. (That was his last name). He was the second most powerful gods, next to zeus. He can read minds, use lighting bolts, call animals wherever, he also has an amazing shot with a bow. So Instead of the Big three it was now the big four. And for Ares, he was locked up in god proof bars. He won't be getting out anytime soon. That was his story. Its not all happily ever after you know. He run into big problems later on. But until then stay tuned for more! :)
