(Brendon's Point of View)

A couple hours had passed and Sarah, Josh, Tyler and I were speaking to the police and the doctors at the mental institution. I had fought to keep Cecily, but the authorities had insisted that her mind had been set to attack me. They insisted that it was too dangerous.
"So you were kidnapped?" A bright-eyed brunette doctor said, earning herself a glare from the burly officer.
"Yes, I was," I confirmed with her, and chuckled slightly at the curiosity in her baby-blue eyes. The officer looked over his clipboard and grunted.
"I believe that's all we need," he said with a slight nod of his head. Without another word, he began to escort us out of the lobby of the mental hospital; out to our car in the parking lot.
"Wait," Tyler said, pulling away from the officer's outstretched hand. "Can we see her one last time?" The officer sighed and opened his mouth to speak, but was cut off by the young doctor.
"Absolutely!" She chimed in. "Follow me."
She led us down a few halls and into a cold, stone room. It didn't have windows, and the door was solid steel. We stepped inside to see Cecily chained in the corner, similar to how Ryan had held me in that old studio. I shuddered, unpleasant memories of sleepless nights crossing my mind.
Josh stood close by Tyler, one hand on Tyler's shoulder. Tyler seemed to be on the verge of tears. The officer hadn't followed us.
"I'm sorry for asking," the doctor said, breaking the deafening silence. Sarah jumped slightly at the sudden noise, but kept her eyes on Cecily, who was chewing on the chains binding her wrists. "Would you mind telling me what happened? I'm a sucker for suspense." I laughed, pulling Sarah into my arms.
"You don't mind, right, Sarah?" I said, my lips close to her ear. She giggled and shook her head.

(Cecily's Point of View)

"It all started with one night," Sarah said to the doctor. She glanced at me in the corner and pressed closer to Brendon's chest. I took a break from chewing at the chains binding my wrists to hiss at Sarah. She looked towards me and yelled, "Leave us alone!"
I lurched forward, tugging at the blasted metal that was keeping me from Brendon. Keeping my from my prize. Ryan promised me the best life possible if I took Brendon to him. Ryan promised me a family and lots of toys. He promised that Brendon would be my dad.
Oh how I wanted Brendon as my dad.
