yoongi hadn't answered that night, and it made jimin a nervous wreck. he hoped that he hadn't scared the other boy off. of course, he tried to entertain his anxiety-ridden self with other things like cleaning or studying, but the thoughts stayed in the back of his mind.

yoongi didn't like him. yoongi didn't care. he was just trying to be polite. don't fool yourself, jimin.

jimin put his headphones in and turned on a piano music playlist. he wanted to rid himself of this mess. he wanted to block out his own thoughts.

he was soon interrupted when his phone buzzed in his pocket, scaring jimin shitless. he thought he had put it on do not disturb as well. jimin swiped on the notification, not even reading it, and stared at his phone blank-faced as it loaded.

saltyoongay : hey sorry i've had classes and i'm working on a project. i didn't mean to ignore you.

jimin breathed out a sigh in relief, closing his eyes slowly as a smile widened across his face. he gently tugged at his earbuds which came tumbling out as he let go of the excess tension in his body and fell back down onto his heels. yoongi hadn't ignored him. yoongi had been busy. it was okay.

jungkook, passing by the scene, raised his eyebrow. his hyung was either crazy or in love. probably both.

jiminie-cricket : haha it's fine. people get busy.

saltyoongay : yeah i guess lol. how's life?

jimin stared at his screen. here he was, having a casual conversation with one of his idols, and both of them were having a good time. if you told the pink-haired boy that this was his future a month ago, he'd probably laugh it off and call you crazy. that didn't stop him from engaging in the conversation, however.

jiminie-cricket : boring. your's?

saltyoongay: idk. since we started talking, i've had much more motivation for my work.

jiminie-cricket : that's good ^^
jiminie-cricket : oh! i should draw you sometime! i bet it'd be really pretty.

saltyoongay: idk kid. i'm not the prettiest. we'll see though.

jimin already started sketching.
