Dawn's Point Of View

It's been a month since the "Loki thing happened" everyone felt bad, but I didn't really care. Tonight Bucky and Steve are taking me out to dinner. Steve and I are a thing I think. But dad and Bruce are making sure that Loki won't "kidnap" me again, while I'm with Bucky and Steve. Clint and Natasha are out shopping for Clint's new baby coming in a month. So, it's me, Steve, Tony (dad), and Bruce in the tower. I'm in my room reading a book while Dad and Bruce are doing who knows what and I think Steve is on the phone with Bucky talking about tonight. I was reading The fault in our stars, man I love this book.
Soon I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in!" It was Steve of course,
" Hey, Nat just called and told me to tell you she's taking you shopping for tonight, so be ready"
" Thanks for the heads up" I smiled,
He smiled and started to walk away,
" Steve!" I said with a nervous tone,
"Hm?" turning around leaning on the wall.
" Where are we going tonight?"
" It's a surprise!" a smirk on his face.
I gave him a pouty face, I got up from my bed and walked over to him. He was little taller than me but not by much. I pulled him into my room and he wrapped his arms around my waist, we were about to kiss but that's when Natasha came in.
" Save it for tonight Steve! Plus this will be Dawn's first kiss don't you want to be special for her?".
My cheeks suddenly turned pink, Steve look at me.
"Is that True?" With a serious face.
I nodded my head slowly.
" Well then you will just have to wait" winking as he let go of my waist
but I kissed him on the cheek and said " Bye then!" Steve chuckled, "Bye ladies, have fun!".
Moments later, Me and Natasha were stopped by dad, "Where are you two going?"
"Shopping, don't worry Stark, your daughter is perfectly safe with me, come on Dawn let's go"
" Okay.., bye dad!"
Natasha pulled me right past dad and ran. We got down to the car, Natasha got in the driver side and I was in the passenger seat.
" Dawn! We're gonna get you the best outfit for tonight!"
"Okay!!" I said excitedly.

(Back at the Tower)

"STEVE!"
" what!?", walking into the lab.
"I'm trusting you with my daughter Rogers"
"Yeah I know Stark, I won't hurt her, calm down."
"I know I know and I trust you but I can't lose her! She's my girl and I wasn't there for her before so I need to be there now"
"I understand Tony" Walking out of the lab.
"One more thing Rogers, I give you permission to date her."
Steve stopped and said "thanks Stark" and continued walking out of the lab and into his room.

(Back at shopping) Dawn's Point of View

Me and Natasha have been looking for dresses for an hour. I just can't find the right one, finally I found it! It was navy blue, short, sleeve less, sparkly on the top and flowly skirt on the bottom, it was perfect. I went to the dressing rooms to go show Natasha.
"Dawn you look amazing!"
"Aww thank you!"
After I tried the dress on Natasha told me she would buy it for me.
"Hey! You know you don't have to buy it you know! I have money!"
"I know!" As a smile crept on her face.
When we got back to the tower, Steve was out with Bucky, and dad and Bruce are doing who knows what. Natasha quickly pushed me into my room and told me to get dressed. As I was getting into my dress I realized Natasha was still in my room and she was quiet... really quiet.
"Dawn did you always have that on your shoulder?"
I knew exactly what she was talking about, my tattoo.
"Yeah, I have"
The tattoo was of my fathers Arc reacter, I've had it since I could remember.
"It's my fathers Arc Reacter"
Natasha just stood there, I was worried what she was gonna say but she completely forgot about it and started brushing my long brown hair.
"I'm gonna do your hair and makeup okay?"
"That's cool with me"
We sat there in silence for the rest of the time. 45 minutes passed, Natasha was finally done with me. She put my hair in a side braid and put little white flowers in the braid, for the makeup she put sliver eyeshadow and mascara and dark red lip stick. It was perfect timing because Steve was back already. I put on my navy blue heels and looked at myself in the mirror and saw Natasha standing in the background, I ran and gave her a hug and whispered,
"Thanks!"
"Of course it's fun cause we finally have another girl I can bond with"
Both of us started to laugh, I thought Steve heard us, because a few seconds later I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in"
Steve opened the door and his eyes went wide, I blushed a bit.
"Da-Dawn you look amazing" still in complete shock. Bucky came and just looked "woah" his eyes going wide also. I giggled a bit. Dad came to see what was going on and I went to go grab my jacket. He and everyone else saw my tattoo. When I turned around, they were all staring at me. Dad came closer to me, "I-Is that my Arc Reacter? Stuttering on his own words. I nodded my head slowly, his eyes started to fill with tears. "Dad I got to go.." "I know I know, we will talk about this later" Dad stepped out of the room and went to his room to process everything meanwhile Steve grabbed my hand and lead me out of the tower, as Bucky followed.

Steve and Bucky sat in the front while I sat in the back of Steve's 1969 black Dodge Charger. Both boys were whispering to each other I couldn't hear them, I was busy trying to fix my dress. Bucky looking back in the backseat and smiling at me.
"So how's my favorite girl doing?"
"Pretty good actually" putting a smile on my face, Steve looked in the mirror and gave me a small smile, then continued driving. I blushed a bit. Steve was wear a dark blue shirt and black dress pants and Bucky was wearing a dark red shirt and black dress pants also. After about 25 minutes in the car we were finally at the restaurant. It was a fancy one but not to fancy. Steve opened the door and gave me a smile while Bucky was telling the waitress
" Table for three please"
The lady smiled, " Right this way"
I took Steve's hand and his big hand intertwined with my small hand. The waitress took us to a booth, me and Steve sat on one side and Bucky sat on the other. We had a great night. Our food was wonderful, I laughed so many times, Steve and Bucky could always make me laugh no matter what they do. Bucky went to the restroom, then it was just me and Steve.
"Are you having a good time?" with a smile on his face,
"No, I'm having a great time!" Giggling.
He laughed, "Good, I'm glad" a few moments later Steve out his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him. When Bucky returned, now it was Steve's turn to use the restroom. Bucky watched as Steve left the table and headed to the restroom, he looked at me.
"Spill it!" He said as he put his hands on the table,
"What!?" I was shocked by what he said.
"Spill it! Do you have feelings for him?!" My eyes went wide and I felt my cheeks getting pink.
"Who?...Steve, ahh.. yeah" blushing like crazy.
"Haha! I knew it" Bucky smiling his biggest smile.
"Bucky.."
"Yes?"
"Do you remember when Steve wasn't Captain America?"
"Of course! Me and him were great friends! Also like brothers, trust me Steve was super short, he had no muscle either, but he did have a great heart, and I always hate when girls fall for him just because he's Captain American,"
" Bucky, I don't love him because he's Captain America, I love him because of his kind and sweet personality." Bucky looked up at me with his dark brown eyes and smiled, by that time Steve returned from the restroom.
"Hey you two what were you guys talking about?"
"Oh, Nothing much" I said taking a sip of my water. Steve looked at me and then Bucky and he did that a few times until Bucky couldn't hold it in anymore. He started laughing and he couldn't stop. Steve gave me the -what did you do face- I started to laugh too and poor little Steve was so confused. As the night went on we all got tired, my feet started to hurt and I was ready to go . Steve paid for the check, which he didn't have to do.
We all went outside and Bucky said he would bring the car up, me and Steve stood by the restaurant and waited. I started to get cold so Steve put his jacket around me, I looked into his baby blue eyes and he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me in closer, we spun me around so I was facing him. Our faces were so close, my eyes started to close and so did his and we leaned it and the next thing I knew I was kissing Captain America. His Kisses were Soft and Sweet, Our lips moving in sync. After our kiss he put his forehead against mine, a few moments later I heard whistling and of course it was Bucky, me and Steve both blushed and got into the car and drove back to the tower. One thing kept repeating in my mind. I kissed Captain America.
