Chapter Twelve

Zeke

No April could hurt my precious brother. I'd protect him even if he started hating me for that.
For me, his life was the most precious thing in the world.

A whole day had passed but I hadn't seen him since that happened. I expected him to come to me at least once. But he didn't. I even looked for him but he wasn't in the room.
Yeah. I did wanted to see him. He was stuck in my mind since he kissed me.
The kiss mesmerized me.
I hated it. But it did.
"Don't you dare to forget it's just a game! "the demon instructed.
" No I didn't. "I sighed.
But there was an irresistible urge to see him. And I wasn't seem to deny it...

I got ready for school and went to the living room where we usually met for school.

It had been a month since I was brought to this house. I was pretty used to now. I had already managed myself.
But however monsters can not be trusted..
I still had to get out. At least that was what the voices inside my mind said...
Just like everyday, Christina was reading a book on the couch and Zeke had his headsets plugged. My eyes rested on the seat where Ace usually sat.
Empty.
The seat was empty. I found my heart ache a little..
Wait! You stupid girl!! You're just acting. Nothing more...

"What is Ace? "I asked.
Christina raised her eyebrow at me," Why do you ask? "

"....."
I searched for a perfect lie to say.
"Isn't he going to school today? "I asked dodging her question.
" No. He's sleeping. I asked him. He said he wasn't feeling well. "

" oh."I replied simply but inside my mind, I don't know why, but I felt a little disappointed...And a little worried.

"Why looking for bro when you have the famous Zeke the great who has a sex - God body and a face that can melt anybody's heart! "Zeke pointed at himself, winking.

Geez. That pervert again..

" You are up to some fun.. Aren't you? "Zeke came to me.
He bent down a little so he could face me.
"I promise I won't ever disappoint you. " he whispered.
And suddenly I had an uncontrollable urge to high-five in his face.
"Fuck off! "I cursed as I pushed him away. I quickly walked past him.
"You always have my door open cutie.." I heard him chuckle.
"I also know you wanted to do bad things to me. " Zeke said.

I snorted.
Yeah. Really bad things. Like cut you into pieces then marinate you in the Salt then fry you in hot olive oil then feed you to the fishes. Really bad things..

" Jesus Christ Zeke! Why do you say things like these when you absolutely have no intention to get your hands dirty. " Christina scoffed.
What? No intentions of getting his hands 'dirty'? Then why do he even act like that?

" Come on sis! It's fun to flirt with her! "Zeke winked.
" Absolutely no fun at all. "I said as I crossed my arms against my chest.
" If your brother came to know that you talked to me like that, I swear you're gonna be in a massive trouble. " I told him.

Shit! What the fuck I just said!

" What do you mean?"Zeke frowned.
"Nothing. We'll get late for school. " I quickly changed the topic.

The fuck I just said!

I sat on my seat,resting my cheek on my palm, while our maths teacher Mrs Robinson continued to lecture us.
" So class, these are the problems we are going to solve today. " she pointed at the black board where she had written some maths problems.
I sat with my pen in my mouth while I was thinking..
Ace was ill. Do vampires even get ill? Did I hurt him anyway.? Why does he have to skip school? How much sick is he? Should I actually ask Christina about him?
I got cut off as I heard, "Can you tell us the answer of this question, Ms Moore?"
Shit
My pen fell from my mouth as I jumped off my seat and looked at the board where Mrs Robinson had written something which I really found close to hieroglyphics.

Fuck I hate maths.

" The answer will be - uh - um.. "I scratched my head pretending to thinking hard.
" 11" I suddenly heard a girl's voice from the behind.
"11." I answered confidently.
"Correct answer! Sit down. "Mrs Robinson said.
I sighed in relief as I sat on my seat. I tilted my head back to see the girl who helped me.
I found a girl with large hazel eyes and wavy red hair which was shoulder length.
" Thank you! "I mouthed.
She raised her thumb and smiled,
" No problem! "

The bell rang and all of the students got out off the class as life there was a lion inside the classroom.
I gathered my books into a pile and looked around for the girl.
I should say thank you again. She helped a lot.
Plus I didn't even know her name.
She might be a new student. I didn't notice her before..

Anyway I'll thank her later. I thought.

I went to my locker and put my books there. The next class was history, my favorite one.
I grabbed the history books,
my note book and slammed the door of the locker.
Suddenly the books fell on the floor with a thud and I realized I was slammed against the locker.

Zeke! Fuck!

He pinned  my wrist against the locker as he smirked, "Hi there blood bank!"
" Fuck you! Let me go! 'I cursed.
"Woah! I didn't know you'd look so tasty when you get angry! " he said.
Fuck it! no no no no..
" I'm so thirsty.. "he said as he dipped his head into my neck like he always did.
Fuck it! I bet it wouldn't happen if Ace was around.
One of the numerous voices in my head said.
He licked my skin and I shudder. But suddenly he pulled away.

" Man, I don't want to drink from the same old neck again... Show me something different,.. interesting places of you.. " he whispered in a low raspy voice, looking into my eyes. I felt my limbs freezing.
He, then, bent down and slowly lifted a side of my skirt, revealing a little skin on my thigh.
".. This looks interesting.."
He bought his mouth to it and pressed his lips against it. I closed my eyes as I felt a shock up to my spine.
And that was when I heard a loud sound of smacking and then a weak moan, 'ow..'
Suddenly my senses were working again and I opened my eyes.
My jaw dropped as I found Zeke laying on the floor hugging his stomach. His mouth twisted into a bitter down turned line.
And the girl from maths class was standing beside him.
"Juno! You're back! "Zeke cried out.
"  Yes fucker! Didn't expect me here. Did you? " the girl said as he put her arms on her waist.
