"Aye! I'm going to be late now! Screw Ryouichi for not waking me up!" Akari said, running out of the house at full speed.
She was wearing her school uniform, except her blazer. She was holding that in her hands, over her shoulders as she ran along with her bag.
She arrived at her classroom, 1 - A and crashed into the door. "Aye! That hurt!" She yelled as she rubbed her nose in pain, opening the door.
"Idiot..." was the first word she heard as she entered the room.
A vein popped on her head, "Aye! What did you mean by that, Katsu? I'm not an idiot!"
He said mockingly "Says the one who crashed into the door like an idiot!"
"It's you," Akari's attention was divided from Katsuki as she heard the voice.
She looked over to see the blue-haired boy, she recognised him as the one from the entrance exams. She pointed her finger at him, "Aye, you're the one that I roasted on the entrance exam, right?" the boy's brow twitched.
"You made it too, Aka-chan?" She snapped her head over to see Midoriya.
She grinned and said "Aye, Izu-kun! Good work on the 60— Uh, or was it 70? Ah, well, who cares! Good work!"
It's strange how her attitude changes to each person... Everyone apart from Katsuki and Midoriya thought.
The blue-haired boy said "How about we start over? I'm Tenya Lida from Somei High, nice to meet you."
"Aye, Akari Himitsu, pleased to make your acquaintance, Tenya," she grinned.
"Don't go talking to these losers, Akari!" Katsuki said.
Another vein popped on Akari's head, "Aye—Shut up, Katsu! No one asked for your opinion!" she remembered something and her attitude changed once more. "Good work on the entrance exam! Second place ain't too bad!"
"Tch, you're still an idiot," Katsuki said, looking away.
"Aye! Cold much?"
"Um, would you two mind keeping it down?" Tenya asks, trying to calm Akari mainly.
"Aye, like as if I would! He just insulted me—"
"Keep it down, would ya? We're not here to watch two idiots argue it out."
Akari and Katsuki snapped "Who are you calling an idiot?" Akari blinked.
"Aye, Aizawa, it's you?" She bluntly stated, pointing at the man that was inside a sleeping bag, just outside the classroom door.
Everyone noticed him, he said "Welcome to U.A's Hero Course," he unzipped his sleeping bag, getting up. "It took you eight seconds before you all shut up, that's not going to work. Time is precious. Rational students would understand that," he glanced over to Akari, who just looked away, looking pissed. "Hello, I'm Shiota Aizawa, you're teacher."
Everyone noticed that Akari's soul was beginning to leave her body. Katsuki looked at her shocked before getting up from his seat and shaking her. "Oi, idiot! Don't go dying on me now!"
Her soul came back and she shouted "Aye! Who are you calling an idiot?"
"Right, let's get to it," Aizawa said, taking out a type of uniform. "Put these on and head outside."
"What? A quirk assessment test?" Everyone asked except for Akari, who just stood there.
Ochaco said "But Orientation! We're gonna miss it!"
"If you really want to make the big leads, you can't waste time on pointless ceremonies," Aye, he's right, Akari thought to herself. "Here at U.A, we're not tethered to traditions. That means I can run my class however I see fit. You've been taking standardise tests most of your lives. But you never get to use your quirks in physical exams before," he showed them his phone of a physical activities list. "The country is still trying to pretend that we're all created equal by not letting those with the most power excel—"
Aye, I get where he is going with this.
"It's not rational. One day the ministry of education will learn. Akari, you managed to get the most points in the entrance exam. What was your farthest distance throw with a soft ball when you were in junior high?"
Akari thought about it, "Aye, about 99m."
"Right, now try to do it with your quirk."
Akari stood in the middle of the circle, a ball in her hand. "Anything goes, just stay in the circle."
"Aye, I understand," she said.
Aye, what should I do? Let's see... Her eyes turned yellow, let's copy a certain ash blonde haired idiot. She glanced over to Katsuki, who noticed her gaze and blasted a bit of explosions out of frustration. She grinned, copied. "Go on, you're wasting our time."
"Aye, just be patient, Aizawa. I'm getting there," she stretched before getting into position.
One... Two... Three... And she threw the ball, blasting the ball with Katsuki's quirk.
She copied my quirk, Katsuki thought to himself, slightly pissed. "All of you need to know your maximum capabilities. It's the most rational way to figure out your potentials as a pro hero," he showed his phone to the class, showing Akari's score.
"Woah! 705 metres, are you kidding me?"
"Oh! I wanna go! That looks like fun!"
"This is what I'm talking about! Using our quirk as much as we want!"
Aye, they're idiots...
"So this looks fun, huh?" Aizawa said.
Aye, they just had to say the wrong things.
"You have three years to become a hero. You think it's all going to be games and play time? Idiots. Today, you'll compete in eight physical tests to gage your potential. Whoever comes in last has none, and we'll be expelled immediately."
"Huh?"
Aye, just as I thought... Akari thought to herself, sighing.
"Like I said, I get to decide how this class runs. Understand?" Many of them either grinned or slightly smiled. "If that's a problem, you can go home right now."
Aye, this is going to be fun though.
"You can't send one of us home! I mean, we just got here! Even if it wasn't the first day, that isn't fair!" Ochaco said.
"Oh, and you think natural disasters are? Are power hungry villains, hmm? A catastrophic accident will wipe out whole cities? No. The world is full of unfairness. It's a hero's job to combat that unfairness. If you want to be a pro, you have to push yourself to the brink. For the next three years, U.A will throw one terrible hardship after another at you. So go beyond. Plus Ultra style. Show me it's no mistake that you're here," a grin played on Akari's lips. "Now then, we're just wasting time by talking. Let the games begin."
With that, the physical tests began.
