Doppelganger

I was in my room upstairs and was alone all over the house when I heard my mom downstairs cooking at the kitchen with the groceries she just bought.

I yelled that I want some steamed beans and tuna for lunch and she nodded in response.

I went back to my room and continued reading a book when I suddenly heard the gate outside opened.

I glanced to the window to see who the intruder was. And it surprised me that it was mom who just came with her groceries.
