A dove?

Staring at the white dove that sat on a branch I checked TAC that I held in my left hand pausing to look at the three blood red marks that scarred the back of my hand. Frowning at them I lightly traced the middle tattoo that looked more like a sword hilt with a spear blade at a closer look, damn it I wanted no part of this.

My thoughts were interrupted when more doves fluttered on the same branch, more and more white feathery plumage appeared covering the blossoming cherry blossom tree. Doves that once represented peace and love now seemed demonic and evil in the little light that the crescent moon offered as they eyed me waiting for my next move.

Concerned I began walking back to the main part of the Estate with black soulless eyes following with every step. Once safely inside I looked out the window to see if the small eery white demons were still looming out in the dark night but was perplexed as to why one of the 'pure' blights were sitting on the outside of the window still judging me with stone eyes.

Drawing the dark wooden blinds I shielded myself away from the odd birds. Checking TAC again I placed in two bullets to ready myself for the rest of the intruders. The doves aren't the presence with large amounts of prana they must have been scouts or maybe familiars.

Leaning against the off-cream wall I focused on my hearing by shutting down two of my senses, sight and taste, the two that put me in less danger if I was confronted the intruder. With hearing I am able to calculate their position, with smell I am able to know precisely where they are and with touch... I am able to handle TAC, Thompson Arms Contender.

"F-father...?"

Everything was hazy after hours of pain I could only just make out father's pained face looking down at me through the growing darkness that started to blind my vision.

"Hush my little Yru, speaking will only make it worse" he whispered scooping me up in his strong but limp embrace as everything faded to a scary black.

"I'm sorry but this will save your life someday..."

~~~
Quickly pushing the painful memory back into the depth of my subconscious I heard a single footstep in the west wing of the Estate. Letting out a steady breath I silently sneaked over to the wall by the entrance of the west wing and sniffed the air. Rosemary and seaweed...? Frowning at the odd smell I closed my eyes at the throb of pain in my brain. Shit... I need to get this over and done with.
Focusing the little Prana I had into my corneas of my eyes I tripled my light receptors making much more easier to see the two figures that walked silently down the west wing hall but dulled my hearing as a result.
Aiming TAC at the larger figure of the two who was roughly ten inches taller than the other I calculated under the dim moonlight. Squeezing the familiar trigger slightly I braced myself for the sound of TAC unloading his precious cargo but stopped myself when the figure that was in my aim disappeared.
Blinking I spun round and fired at the figure that reappeared behind me, a dark haired woman with inhuman pointy ears and golden animalistic eyes stared back at me with an amused smile, she was also dressed in an old gothic ball gown with a low front so most of her large chest was showing.
The gun shot sounded through the small wooden room and it became eerily quiet, I couldn't have missed they were right in front of me... I stared at the woman who seemed unharmed by the bullet and quickly dived away from the wall when she stretched out a thick golden thread above her making dark green sludge fall round her. Wincing when a drop fell on my right shoulder I instantly knew what it was. Poison.
