incandescence;

i want to watch the sun perish in late summer and let its last futile rays set my eyes ablaze, to stand in the middle of the ocean as harsh waves subside and the lifeless sea fills my lungs. i want the moon to make valleys tremble and mountains crumble in its wake, and i want the stars to weep incandescence as they mourn their fallen mother.

i want obsidian to stain the sky and frost to spread on velvet blooms and cherry lips, leaves to wilt off trees as a scream rips from the sky. i want black to fill my throat and ink to spill from my tongue, as i watch the death of the sun and the solemness of the moon.

this made more sense in my head
