Ryan and mother stared at the bastard for what seemed like days; deer in headlights. I can't blame them, I was doing the same thing.
"We need to leave, quickly before he gets back up."
Her voice so low that we needed to pay extra close attention to her lips to make it out."Ryan, pack what you can grab, we need to leave A.S.A.P." He gave a nod and left.
"Mother grab Alex, then we leave." And she did the same.
'How many times would it take to cave in his head with a baseball bat ?'
'Oh, well, don't want his vile blood on me.'
They caught me staring, and that's what pulled me from my trance.
"You ready to leave ?"
"She has Alex, I have my phone, you guys have your belongings, ya' I'm ready."
~Later that night ~
"Now, we need shelter, food, drinks. Later we can work on a permanent residence farther away from here."
I announced to the rest of the family."Mom feed Alex, the rest of you hide with her, play with him. I'm getting food and drinks."
"From where ?"
"Judging from the lights down the down the street... a party."
"Make sure to take a bag, we'll be like this for a while till one, or all of us gets a job."
"I'll be sure to do that Andrew."
~Some time later ~
"God, they need to dim the lights and turn the music down."
'Just get the shit and we'll leave.'
~After collection time ~
'People are fucking stupid. I took a whole back - pack
of food and water.''Should I count how long this will last here ? Or wait when I get back ?'
'Egh, I don't think people will notice; it's not like anyone's sober, and if so... run back.'
With that thought in mined, I started counting right on the door step of the place I stole from. Damn it's dark, if there wasn't any lights coming from the house, I wouldn't have the for minimum sight I have.
"You know, you could've asked, I would've helped."
I hear from a blond guy ( I saw his hair because of the illuminating light from the house), yanking my body towards him, I see him carrying a plethora of things I need."And say what ? " Hey, sorry to crash your good time, can you help me steal food from the party ?"
"Whatever you would've said, it would've been better than being secretive about it."
'Did he steal the whole fridge ?'
"... I know we just met but can I ask something of you ?"
"Sure, never hurts to ask."
"Do you know anyone that could hook someone up with a job ?"
"Depends, it's very degrading, if you want it call this number."
